This Black Hills Vacation Home is located near Historic Deadwood and Sturgis Your Perfect Black Hills Adventure Starts at Silver King Lodge! Guests have access to the whole house. This is in the town of Galena - 8 miles south of Deadwood in a beautiful location. There are taxis you can take to get around. If you drive, there is a large driveway that can accommodate several vehicles. *4-wheel drive required for winter driving conditions* *You may want to bring drinking water - the tap water has sulfur in it, it is fine to drink, but it does have a sulfur smell, so most people do not prefer to drink it* Deadwood Connections is a locally owned and managed vacation rental management company that puts the guest first. Our team is available to assist you at any point during your stay—from arrival to departure. You can reach out if you need local recommendations or have any issues during your visit to the Black Hills. Your house was very beautiful and up to date. The kitchen was very well stocked. The water was very potent with a strong sulfur smell, but you had mentioned that in the description. My only complaint is that while the light fixtures are beautiful, the house had very dim lighting for it being surrounded by the hillsides and trees (not getting much sunlight). We were going to try to do a puzzle, but could not find a spot in the house with adequate lighting. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much! Thank you.

Great cabin, in a quiet and secluded location next to a babbling brook - does not get much better than that. The fact that there is no cell service or internet access is the frosting on the cake. The property management company is super easy to work with and very accommodating.
