Dog-Friendly Requirements

• Age requirements - 1-year mark around when a puppy becomes a dog – even if they say housebroken at 5 months how will pet behave being left alone in a strange house/environment
• Weight limits
• Breed policies
• Spayed / neutered requirements
• Maximum number of dogs
• Vaccinations
• Flea and Tick Control - Let the guest know about potential pests – deer tick/sand fleas  causing ailments such as Lyme disease and anemia  - so they want and are glad you warned them so they can treat their dog before the trip
• Local Ordinances and HOA Policies - these beaches don’t allow pets or allow pets – regarding HOA these areas pets are not allowed – ( complex pool, gardens )
• Pet Waste Cleanup - Include in addendum what to do when a pet does his business - guests to pick up after dog after they tend to their business – waste bags 
• Leash Policy - Let them know if all dogs need to keep on leashes
• Barking - Noise ordinances regarding unattended dogs – fines
• Crating - a requirement if apply
• Pets allowed in the house or in an outdoor dog house/garage setting
