Welcome to our super‑clean, bright & spacious 1‑bedroom condo less than a block from South Padre Island’s sandy beach. Gulfpoint has one of the nicest areas on the Island that isn’t beachfront. Our updated third‑floor walk‑up offers a modern open floor plan, a balcony overlooking the pool w/ community BBQ pits & plenty of room for family fun. Up to six guests can relax & unwind here thanks to a fully equipped kitchen, 2 queen beds + airbed, & a welcoming atmosphere.

Pool‑view balcony: Enjoy a morning coffee overlooking one of the best pool areas on the island (non‑heated) and use the community BBQ grills for dinner. Please remember charcoal if using these pits

Definitely family‑friendly to be sure - allowing up to 6 though that’s considering kids as likely best fit - with two queen beds in the bedroom, a sectional couch, and an airbed you can blow up. Please bring bedding if you plan on using. Ideal for two adults and two children though we do allow up to 6 total people, Fully equipped kitchen: Stocked with pots, pans, dishes and utensils for convenient money‑saving meals. Great for work & play: Free Wi‑Fi (island service can be spotty at times), smart TV for your favorite app and a workspace for remote work near the beach.

Pet friendly: One dog is welcome with a $75 fee; please review the house rules for details.

Take note there is not a dishwasher nor washer/dryer in this space, though there is a coin operated community washer and dryer.

The bedroom offers two queen beds and there’s a full bathroom.
Reasonably Resort‑style amenities: A large (non‑heated) swimming pool, heated hot tub, multiple BBQ grills, tennis courts, a small fitness center and a community room for cards or games. Washers and dryers are available on site.

Walkable dining & attractions: Easily walk to nearby restaurants like Seaside Grill at the Holiday Inn, Sea Ranch (fine dining on the marina), Dirty Al’s (at Sea Ranch Marina, freshest shrimp on South Pare) and Mahi Nic’s (best burgers and fish tacos on south padre plus nachoe, or explore local shops and entertainment.
Important details

Capacity: We do allow up to 6 guests (thanks to the airbed) but the condo is best suited for two adults and two children. Please be aware that it is a one‑bedroom unit not on the beach and not brand new or fully remodeled; we want to set proper expectations.
House rules & booking: Guests must read and agree to all house rules before booking. We have a strict cancellation policy and require a digital rental agreement with photo ID for age verification. Please contact us with any questions before reserving. We require primary guest to be 23 years of age or older. You MUST contact us prior to booking as we do allow under 23 with additional refundable damage deposit this is not optional

Contactless entry: Managed locally by the best property management company on South Padre Island - South Padre Trips at 2600 Padre Blvd. Door codes are sent via text by 3 p.m. on arrival day we do answer phones 24 hours per day 7 days a week.

Please note: We are bringing your attention that this property has a gate code to enter for the parking and once you're at the property, you have to pick up wristbands and parking permits and there is a fee for this. Please message us with any questions - feel free prior to arrival and we can walk you through this check in process because it's easy but it's not straightforward.

Supplies & Wi‑Fi: We provide a starter set of toiletries and cleaning supplies; these are not unlimited nor replenished. Wi‑Fi is the highest level available on the island, but outages can occur - hot spot on a cell phone is a great back up option

Pets: One dog is allowed with a $75 fee; please review our pet policy in the house rules.
Discounts: Off‑season discounts for stays over 4 nights (Sept 2 – Dec 20) and discounts for active military and tackle football coaches—contact us to see if you qualify.

WRISTBAND FEE — PLEASE READ
Gulfpoint has an HOA-required property and security wristband fee of $35 per person, collected at check-in. This is not our fee — it goes directly to the complex.
During March spring break and Easter week, the fee rises to $40 per person (non-refundable). We pre-collect this for your convenience, or you can pay the security team in cash if you arrive between 3–5 PM, though that will slow down check-in.

You will have complete private access to our modern apartment during your stay. The space includes a living area, a kitchen, a bedroom, and a balcony with views of the pool. Beyond the unit, you have full access to the shared community amenities at Gulfpoint, such as the outdoor pool, hot tub, fitness room, tennis courts, and the community room. You are also welcome to use the communal charcoal barbecue grills. We provide one dedicated covered parking spot for your vehicle. The building is equipped with an elevator to ensure easy access to your third floor unit.

Our condo is located in the heart of South Padre Island, offering the perfect balance of relaxation and convenience. You will be just a short walk away from the beautiful sandy beach, making it easy to enjoy sun and surf whenever you like. The neighborhood is highly walkable, allowing you to reach popular local dining spots such as Seaside Grill, Sea Ranch for fine marina dining, and Dirty Als for the freshest shrimp on the island. For a casual bite, Mahi Nics is a local favorite for burgers and fish tacos. Beyond the food, you can explore charming local shops and entertainment venues all within a comfortable stroll from your front door.

Our condo is conveniently located in the heart of South Padre Island, making it an ideal home base for exploring the area. You will have one dedicated covered parking spot included with your stay. If you are traveling with additional vehicles, free parking is available at the island intermodal bus station or at the local post office. The island is highly walkable, allowing you to reach many restaurants and attractions on foot. For those arriving by air, the Brownsville South Padre Island International Airport is approximately a forty minute drive from the property.

Check in time is 3 PM and check out time is 11 AM. The primary guest must be at least 25 years old unless prior arrangements are made. We require a signed rental agreement and a photo ID for age verification before your arrival. This is a smoke free and party free property. Quiet hours are strictly enforced from 10 PM to 9 AM. One dog is permitted with a 75 dollar fee and must be disclosed. Please note that the unit does not have a dishwasher or washer and dryer inside, though coin operated laundry is available in the complex. We provide a starter supply of toiletries and paper goods, which are not replenished during your stay. Guests are expected to leave the unit in good condition by setting the thermostat to 78 degrees, starting the dishwasher if applicable, and removing all trash. Security wristbands are required for all guests during March and Easter week at an additional cost per person. Please contact us with any questions before booking.

We want your stay to be as smooth as possible. This property is professionally managed by South Padre Island Trips, and our local office is located at 2600 Padre Boulevard. Our team is available to assist you twenty four hours a day, seven days a week, so please do not hesitate to reach out via the platform messaging system if you have any questions or concerns during your visit. We provide contactless entry, and you will receive your unique door code via text message by three in the afternoon on your arrival day.

Ok - Gulfpoint has a bunch of small rules so PLEASE take the time to read them all and agree to ALL prior to booking. Ask questions via messaging before you book- not after as we do allow for refunds over these rules :) An electronic key code is provided they day of check in by 3 pm, generally not before to the phone number on file. An e-sign rental agreement we do email to you must be completed to prior to arrival along with attaching a picture of your photo ID. This is NOT optional and required to maintain our STR Rental License with the City Minimum age of primary tenant is 25 years unless you contact us prior to arrival. If under 25, additional damage deposit is required You MUST inquire if not 25 - THERE ARE ADDITIONAL DEPOSITS required but it IS possible , FYI The maximum amount of guests indicated is the absolute maximum. We count infants (children under 2) as guests.In other words infants count on your total amount of guests allowed, no exceptions. The primary guest must check in and accompany guests. Subletting is strictly prohibited. One of the beds counted is an airbed we provide with pump. Please bring bedding if you plan on using as well as couches which aren't really beds but airbnb counts em. Bring bedding if need be. Property is professionally managed locally by South Padre Island Trips at 2600 padre Blvd 78597 - our office is open 9 am to 5 pm seven days a week of you should need anything. No Smoking * No Parties * No Exceptions Loud noises are NEVER permitted including music. Complex quiet time is 10 pm to 9 am. Pool is open 8 am to 10:00 pm (if property has a pool). Check out is 11 a.m. Our rental includes a starter pack of toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, soaps and dishwasher pods - it is not unlimited nor replenished. For stays more than 2 nights you may want to bring more we do not re supply. Additional free parking is available at the inter Modal bus station or at the post office on the Island. A golf cart is considered a vehicle FYI No pets - if you do not disclose you will be evicted :( Unauthorized / non registered guests are NOT allowed. Get together NOT allowed nor unregistered guests in pool area. At check out, you must turn the thermostat to 78 degrees, put all dirty dishes in dishwasher and turn on, and take all trash in unit to the trash chutes near elevator. Failure to do so results in an excessive cleaning fee of $150 billed to the credit card on file. In March, as well as during Easter Week (holy week/semana santa) this property homeowners association / HOA requires a condo security wristband fee of $35 PER PERSON. We do bill for this prior to your arrival for your convenience. This is NOT our fee as a host this property charges this or security will not let you in. Wristbands during this time period must be worn at ALL times This fee applies ONLY to those 13 years of age to 33.
