Embassy Condos Unit 502 sits on the 5th floor at 2600 Gulf Blvd, directly on the beach and a short walk from South Padre Island's entertainment district — a combination almost no other beachfront property on the island can claim. Two bedrooms, two baths, up to 6 guests, with a sweeping patio view of the Gulf & beach that opens straight from the living room. Pool, tennis courts, elevator access, and a quiet family complex that sits a walkable distance to some of the best restaurants and bars on the island.

Space

The floor plan does something simple that a lot of condos get wrong: it pulls your eye straight through from the front door to the Gulf. Kitchen and breakfast bar up front, living room in the center, and the patio door at the far end framing the ocean view.

The kitchen is fully equipped for real home cooking — pots, pans, dishes, everything needed to run a meal and save money on eating out every night. The full dining room table seats the group properly, and the counter stools at the breakfast bar handle the quicker, more casual mornings.

The guest bedroom sits to the left of the kitchen with two full beds and a Smart TV. The living room has a large sectional with a pull-out sleeper sofa and a new oversized flat screen for game days and movie nights. The master bedroom is closest to the ocean — unique in that it has two full beds, en suite full bathroom, and windows overlooking the water. This space does not have a king bed

Out on the 5th floor patio: an electric BBQ grill (available after July 16) and the kind of elevation that puts the whole beach in front of you with actual airflow. The in-unit washer and dryer make longer stays genuinely convenient, and the elevator means no hauling gear up stairs.

A straight note on the property: this is an island original, not a fresh remodel. It's well-maintained, set up well, and priced honestly — guests who book here are coming for the views, the location, and the quiet complex, not for brand-new finishes. That's the right way to think about it and we do not want to disappoint you.

Starter supplies provided: linens, bath towels, face and hand towels, soaps, shampoos, dishwasher pods, coffee, filters, creamer, and sweetener — starter amounts, not restocked during your stay. Beach towels are not provided; bring your own. If you plan on using the sleeper sofa or the airbed, bring bedding for those surfaces — all other beds come dressed and ready.

PARKING
One off-street parking space is included at no charge — free, unlike hotels on the island that charge per car. This unit comes with one space; overflow parking is not guaranteed at the complex but there is guest parking outside the gate - not guaranteed. Gulf Blvd in front of the building typically has free street parking, and the Post Office is a last alternative if you arrive with more than one vehicle and always has space

NEIGHBORHOOD
Embassy sits a few blocks from South Padre's entertainment district — the part of the island most beachfront condos can only reach by car. Bob's on the Bay, Tequila Sunsets, and Driftwood are all walkable for happy hour. Viva on the bay handles the fine dining and craft cocktail end of the evening. The Kraken sports bar runs a 24-foot flat screen for when the game matters and you need a proper setup to watch it.

If your kiddos need something to do there is the Gravity Park, with mini golf, go carts, the gravity drop ride, ferris wheel & a walkable really nice arcade + Dairy Queen

The rarer thing about this location is what it's not – loud. Most complexes near the entertainment strip trade quiet for convenience. Embassy is the exception — a genuinely calm family complex that happens to be within a short walk of everything. That combination is hard to find on this island.

High-speed WiFi is included throughout the condo; please note that Spectrum service can be spotty at times, so come prepared with a hotspot on your phone if you have must-do work as it can go down.

Transit

One of the best features of this beachfront location is that you can reach most of the local entertainment district on foot, meaning you can easily explore the best bars and restaurants without needing a vehicle. Your stay includes one reserved off-street parking space at the complex. If you are arriving with more than one vehicle, you can find additional free parking at the local post office or the island intermodal bus station. For those traveling by air, the property is accessible via Brownsville South Padre Island International Airport, which is approximately a forty five minute drive from the island.

Notes

Important information for your stay. Check in time is 3 pm and check out is 11 am. The primary guest must be at least 25 years old and provide a valid photo identification along with a signed rental agreement prior to arrival. This property is strictly for quiet enjoyment and does not allow parties or smoking. Quiet hours are observed between 10 pm and 9 am. One reserved parking space is included and overflow parking is available at the local post office or intermodal station. We provide starter supplies but these are not replenished during your stay. Please note that infants count toward the maximum occupancy of 6 guests. During March and Easter week the homeowner association requires a wristband fee for guests aged 13 to 33. We appreciate your cooperation in leaving the unit in good condition by handling trash and dishes as requested to avoid additional fees.
