You found it! This is a great vacation house - walk around the corner and step onto stunning Ridgevale Beach: the best beach for families in Chatham. Children love playing in the surf and exploring the tide pools for hours, and there are plenty of water sport rentals down the beach. Come and go as you please with no hassle, no valuable time wasted. Beach house is designed for the fun and memorable family vacation; completely redone and all new furniture throughout was chosen with comfort in mind. Extra thick king bed in master and 2 sets of bunks in second bedroom. There is also a high quality queen sofabed in the LR. Sprawl out in LR to read, talk or listen to stereo/cd. Large dining area easily seats eight and there is a lovely nook where you can all stretch out to have coffee, read the paper or watch TV w/cable, HBO, Starz, VCR/DVD. (2nd TV/VCR in MB) Kitchen has little extras like grind & brew coffee maker, blender, lobster pot, crock-pot and even an ice cream maker!

After the beach, lobster and ice cream, clean up is easy with the dishwasher & washer/dryer. 2 full baths: 1 with shower, 1 with new, clean tub to soak off all that lotion. Of course there is an outdoor shower for the complete Cape Cod feel. For family fun enjoy the play loft! Beanbags, games, toys, books and movies are there when you need a beach break. Can't stay inside? Shoot hoops or play horseshoes in the yard. Have a drink on the patio, or grill and eat on the deck. There are beach chairs, beach bags, beach toys, and umbrellas as well as a picnic basket and cooler...and a large wagon to roll it all to the beach. Many free baby amenities are available. This rental includes towels and linens as well as end of the week housekeeping! So you'll have more time to enjoy the beach, shop famous downtown Chatham, take a seal tour off Monomoy Island, and enjoy the many summer Chatham concerts and activities. Chatham Vacation Beach House is just perfect for your dream vacation at The Cape. There are a few new features that Chatham Beach House has to offer this year! First of all, we have now built a front porch and filled it with colorful chairs so that you can sit and enjoy some peace and quiet, or watch the kids swing on the buoy swing from the big tree in the front yard. Grilling will be enhanced now because we've purchased an amazing Weber SUMMIT grill, beautiful and sleek, complete with a burner for corn or lobsters! Even watching movies will be enhanced, with our new 43 inch Flatscreen High Definition television. We look forward to sharing all of these exciting updates with our wonderful guests, and we hope that you love everything as much as we do!

Distance to beach: .1 mile to beautiful Ridgevale Beach! Towels, beach towels, beach equipment, baby amenities, housekeeping included. Completely redone, set on a quiet dead end street. Children's playloft, games, toys, movies, outdoor basketball, horseshoes and more. Internet service, 2 tv/vcr/dvd, cable/hbo/starz/ondemand, full kitchen, great home done in whites and blues - just beautiful. Walk .01 mile to Ridgevale Beach: the best beach in Chatham for kids - sandwiched between the open ocean and endless tide pools filled with calm waters, sea critters and hours of exploration. Hot and cold snack bar, store, water sport rentals, and bathrooms available. This house was completely sold out last year for the summer as well as much of the spring and fall. We look forward to hearing from you!

Ridgevale Beach, around the corner, is stunning. This is the best beach in Chatham for families and kids. Chatham center is filled with stores of every description. You could spend days sifting through the gift shops, art boutiques, clothing stores, candy shops and more. Lighthouse Beach is incredible, and you may even catch sight of the Coast Guard guys throwing around a baseball in front of the white and red picturesque working lighthouse (tours available). Charter boats for fishing, or take a seal tour off Monomoy Island - a beautiful wildlife and bird refuge. Visit Chatham center on friday nights to hear the Chatham Band play a variety of fun tunes, and enjoy popcorn, snacks and people watching to your heart's desire. Veteran's Park has an enormous and wonderful playground where kids of all ages can run around for hours... time it right and catch a Chatham A's baseball game and see why the Cape League is so special. Games and playground are free, of course!! Chatham is centrally located, so if you want to explore other areas, you are close to everything from Hyannis to Provincetown. They're just at the end of a beautiful ride through the Cape. If you love biking, you're in luck because Chatham Vacation Beach House is near the entrance to the Bike Path - a beautiful ride for children and adults. Or take a drive and spend a day at the National Seashore where nature has been preserved forever - it is just beautiful. (Take note of the large waves there - too big for little kids.) Besides these and countless more suggestions, there are the simpler things that the Cape and Chatham have always offered.... beautiful walks, family beachcombing, finding the perfect shell, swimming and sunbathing, restaurants and ice cream, shopping and playing, sunset watching and relaxing, and most importantly, realizing that this is what life is all about: the good stuff.
