The Quintessential Luxury Beach House
This is the place you dreamed of when you dreamed of a getaway to the beach! Casa Bella is nearly 3,000 sq ft of beachfront luxury, built and furnished in the style of the great beachfront mansions of old. From the minute you walk through the front gate, down the wooden walkway, and through the beautiful front doors you'll feel the mood that says, "Rest, relax, have fun. You're at the beach!"
The hardwood floors throughout, the distressed wood paneling, and ornate ceilings make this a world away from whatever you left at home.
Living Room
The living room is spacious, yet cozy, and the feeling is magnified by the 10 foot ceilings and the wall to wall windows with an expansive view of the beach and the ocean that fills your vision. The huge gas fireplace helps create the perfect place for long, languid conversations, with the Pacific Ocean underscoring it all. The central in-house stereo will pipe your chosen musical accompaniment throughout Casa Bella.
Dining Room
The dining room is an extension of the living room, and continues the sweeping ocean and beach views. Whether for intimate dinners for two or feasts for a large group, it's the perfect setting for fabulous food and great company. Even the dinnerware adds to the fun. It's fully furnished. All you need to bring is your food and drink.
Kitchen
Preparing those meals will be a joy in this fantastic, fully-furnished kitchen. Upgraded professional-grade appliances will bring out the great chef in you. And, you know how it is, everyone always winds up in the kitchen - well that's ok, because the counter seating is designed to make conversation the main entrée. Thanks to the spacious, open design of Casa Bella, you can still be a part of the action, and enjoy the view, while preparing meals. A starter supply of dishwashing products is supplied.
Main Floor Bedroom/TV Room/Library
This wonderful room is perfect for a little quiet reading or TV watching. Just off the living room, and with a partial view of the ocean, it is a relaxing getaway. It features a large TV with 5-Disk DVD, and a great sound system. The couch is a queen sofa sleeper, allowing the room to do triple duty.
Main Floor Bath
If anything displays the style of Casa Bella, and the care with which it was designed and furnished, it may be the main floor bath, with its pedestal sink and glass transom. It's a full bath, as are all four of Casa Bella's bathrooms. A starter supply of fine toiletries and paper products is provided for guests of Casa Bella.
Master Bedroom Suite
Through the double doors at the top of the stairs is the master bedroom suite, with magnificent panoramic ocean and beach views, queen bed, large closets, and luxurious master bath. It's comfortable and romantic, and you'll feel the peacefulness from the moment you enter. The master bath is spectacular, with a Jacuzzi tub for two, double sinks. You'll especially love the double headed shower with double seats.
Other Bedrooms
The other three bedrooms on the second floor are simply fantastic. They are built and furnished in the style of a more romantic age.
The second upstairs bedroom has more sweeping ocean views and a queen bed.
The third bedroom has a queen bed and partial ocean view.
The fourth bedroom has a trundle bed and a built-in single. This room will be a favorite of the young and young at heart. The TV/VCR in this room may come in very handy.
The upstairs full bath is beautifully decorated, and the skylight adds to its charm.
Oceanfront Media Room/Bedroom
One of the favorite rooms at Casa Bella is the downstairs media room/bedroom. It features wall-to-wall windows looking over the beach and the ocean. For electronic entertainment there is a 60" HDTV with Expanded Digital Cable offerings that include Showtime and Starz movie packages, and more than 20 music channels. There is a DVD, VCR, and XBox. Your enjoyment will be enhanced by the Surround-Sound system.
Getting hungry from all this entertainment? No problem. The media room also has a mini-kitchen/wet bar that is perfect for preparing your snacks and drinks.
Want more? Open the slider from the media room to the oceanfront deck and hop into the soothing, relaxing waters of Casa Bella's large private hot tub. You may want to spend hours out here, watching whales, waves, sunsets, stars...well, you get the picture.
One of the sofas in the media room is a full sofa sleeper. The walk-in closet and full bathroom will make this a bedroom suite that is really sweet! You may have competition to see who gets this bedroom.
Decks and Hot Tub
The wrap-around deck is partially protected, and is a great place for relaxing, wave watching, sunbathing, and,well, whatever. And did we mention, the lower deck, off the media room, features a large hot tub with a great ocean view.
Other Things
Broadband High-Speed Wireless Internet access, an eMachine computer and color printer are provided for guests at Casa Bella.
There is a phone for local calls. Long distance requires that you call collect, toll-free, or use a calling card.
A full sized washer and dryer are located on the second floor, just steps from all the bedrooms. A starter supply of laundry products is also provided.
In the laundry closet you will also find special towels for the beach and hot tub.
With the queen sofa sleeper in the living room, the sleeping capacity of Casa Bella is 15 persons.
Depoe Bay is the Whale Watching Capital of the coast. You may see whales at almost any time of year, because a large pod makes Depoe Bay their home. During the migration (twice each year) whale watching reaches a frenzy, with hundreds being counted each year.
