Private Pool - Beach Front - 20' from the water's edge - The owner is a Professional Chef!!! In 2005 we have updated the villas completely all new appliances, electronics and furnishings – we have added Broadband 512kbs wireless network along with a Dell Laptop per villa (so you do not have to bring yours) and a Free US and Canadian phone system. The beach at Play del Secreto is truly one of the nicest beach any of our guest have seen - the sand is white - the water is turquoise and clear without any rocks, weeds or drop-offs. Our villa The Secret Beach Villa is a 4 bedroom - 5 bath home is located in a very small private residential area of only a dozen or so villas all very up-scale. It is a quite, safe and peaceful community. If you like to walk the beach this is the perfect beach to walk! If you are tired of hurrying in the morning to get a choice spot on the beach before there all taken, or wearied of the beach hustlers, this place is for you. This Mexican/Spanish Colonial Style home is decorated with a mixture of Hand Made Guadalajara Furniture, Mayan art, Luxury Linens, Fine China and State of the Art Electronics. You can make yourself a drink at the fully stocked wet bar, have our chef cook dinner for you in the gourmet kitchen, lay in the private pool, take a dip in the Caribbean, stroll the beach, or just turn on your
favorite CD, grab a book and head for a lounge chair without being in a crowd. When you get exhausted from all that serenity you can get in the car and drive 15 minutes to all the fine dining, night clubbing, shopping and people watching that the Cancun area has to offer.
NOTE: We have 3 villas exactly alike and can hold up to 28 people each villa has it's own private sepertae pool! This is a great place to stay for family reunions or weddings!

We believe that the villas are your home while you are here, keeping that in mind above all we respect your privacy, however if you need us we are only steps away.

Puerto Morelos is an unique Mexican seaside town that is the hidden serine tropical utopia that travelers long search for but most never find.
It's a charming small Caribbean town where the community consists of colorful artists, expats, and local fishermen. You can sit and have a margarita and watch the town square where children play soccer with waves breaking on the reef in the background, and the local fishermen showing off their freshly caught dorado. The town of Puerto Morelos has a unique personality and high regard to the nature surrounding it.
Puerto Morelos has the advantage of being conveniently located midway between the towns of Cancun and Playa del Carmen at the start of the Mayan Riviera, making it an ideal location to explore all of the areas nearby attractions. A 20 minute drive south of the Cancun airport.
The Great Mayan Reef a National Park, is only a short 200 yards from the beach and is an ideal place to enjoy snorkeling or scuba diving with a wide array of Caribbean fish. Another popular option that the reef provides is to go fishing for the day and fish for sailfish, red snapper, dorado, barracuda, and marlin off the backend of the reef.
The largest Eco Park is Xcaret, a "whole day & evening" Eco Zoo - Bat Cave, Sea Turtles, Mushroom Farm, Butterfly Pavilion, Reptiles, Sharks, a Coral Reef Exhibit, Jaguars and Local Animals, Parrots and lots of trails with tropical flowers and plants.
Water Activities - Underground River, Lagoon for Snorkeling, Beach, Wading and Tide Pools and Swim with the Dolphins
Mayan Culture - Mayan Village and the Night Show is a recreation of a Mayan festival including dance and an ancient Mayan game called Ulama, a very entertaining show educating you on the history of the Mayans and their Culture.
Xel-Ha - The Snorkeling Heaven (ishel-ha) is a great pick for 1st time snorkeling, or people whom do not want to open water snorkeling on windy days when the ocean is rough. The park is a large natural inlet that has a small opening to the ocean making it a natural aquarium for all kinds of fish and sea life. There is a fresh spring water river that flows threw a mangrove, down to the inlet - you can inter tube down. You can see cenotes and they have a small Mayan cave, or just find one of the hidden areas with hammocks.
Tulum is about an hour drive south from the Puerto Morelos / Playa del Secreto. It is small but very spiritual, located on top the 50 foot-high cliffs with the blue waters of the Caribbean as a backdrop.
Chichen Itza was the most important ancient city of the Mayan Culture, a center for religion, trade and politics. It is the largest and most impressive of the Mayan Ruins that lay within a day's trip distance from the Mayan Riviera area.
When you go you should pay for Private Guide - you really get the most of out the trip and learn a lot about the Mayan Culture that you will miss on your own. There is also a night light show that you don't want to miss. It's open 8am to 9pm. It's located 149 miles from Cancun towards Merida, and takes approximately 2.5 hours to get there.
The professionals at White Health Spa will come directly to the villa to give you a massage or beauty treatment. Chose from: Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, a Simply Back Message, Shiatsu, Reflexology, Hawaiian Lomi-Lomi Massage or a Combination of any of the above.
