Welcome to Rebel Hill Guest Ranch! Experience ranch life in a relaxed, secluded atmosphere. If it's time to get away, to slow down, or just to relax, then let Rebel Hill be your escape. Rebel Hill is a third generation working horse ranch, home to over 80 horses. Rebel Hill Guest Ranch offers guests quiet, relaxed evenings in cozy, rustic cabins. Unlike "dude ranches," Rebel Hill lets you set your own schedule so you can do as little or as much as you please. The only schedule we have is for horseback riding.
Rebel Hill features guided trail rides throughout 400 acres of land. If you're a beginning horseback rider, don't worry. Riding lessons are available and horses are personally assigned based on riding experience. We take pride in our quality saddle horses. We also have small Welch ponies for the little ones! And we are certified to work with people with disabilities, so ask about our therapeutic riding program.
If it's fishing or paddleboating you're in the mood for, then you will just love the beautifully landscaped and well stocked 12 acre private lake. It is so relaxing to go hiking and watch all of the wildlife. You can watch the beavers build their dam on the lake and all of the ducks and geese swim about. There are squirrels and raccoons running around. And you might even hear a coyote or two. We even planted 80 acres of wheat for the deer to feed on. We are also opening a petting zoo for the kids.
There are many on and off ranch activities that you can fill your day with. On the ranch you can go hiking, horseback riding, fishing, and play some baseball on our new field. The off ranch activities are located in the Kiamichi Mountain. Some of these include canoe trips, hog hunting, coon hunting, and golfing.
Our cabins are a home away from home. We have one and two bedroom, cozy cabins to choose from. Each cabin comes equipped with linens, rods and reels, cooking utensils and dishes, BBQ pits with picnic tables, as well as firewood and fire rings to build campfires. Roasting marshmallows over a campfire is always so much fun! You can prepare meals in the fully functional kitchen, and dine in the dining room with terrific views of the lake or in the living room while you're watching digital cable.
Our most recent project was refurbishing an 80 foot Victorian passenger train that was built in 1911. This luxurious, Victorian style cabin has two bedrooms, two bathrooms (one with a claw-footed tub and the other with a rock shower), a kitchen, and living and dining areas. We also have a covered wagon for the kids to camp in!
Do you have your own horses? If so, you can rent an entire ranch that borders the Kiamichi River and the 35,000 acre Hugo Lake Wildlife Refuge. This ranch has one cabin and sits on 750 acres. Weekends (Friday-Sunday) ... $200-$300/weekend
Single Week Night ......... $ 75-$100/night
Double Week Night .......... $150-$190/2 nights
Full Week (Sunday-Sunday) .. $500-$650/week
Sunday to Friday ........... $380-$480/short week
Covered Wagon, for the kids is $25 per night.
Prices are for a group of 4, $25 per night per additional guest.
Horseback Riding $15 per person per hour or $25 per person for 2 hours.
