Property Information

One of the most spectacular properties on Puget Sound, Whidbey Beachfront House and Cabins offers a contemporary four bedroom, three bath home with two adjacent one bedroom cabins located on one and a half acres of sandy, west-facing beachfront property. Newly completed in fall 2008, this beautiful luxury property offers new bedrooms, a master bath with a steam room and soaking tub, a fabulous new glass surround deck with 180° views, a beach shelter and much more.

The main house is a spacious 3000 square feet with luxury amenities and amazing beach, water, and mountain views from every room. The home features a large open kitchen with granite countertops and new appliances, teak trestle table that seats 10-12, oak floors with antique Persian carpets, cathedral ceilings, three gas fireplaces, a huge deck perfect for entertaining, and an atrium room. The two largest bedrooms include a king bed in each and the third bedroom contains a queen bed and twin bunk beds. The fourth bedroom contains a twin with a trundle bed and opens directly into bedroom two. This arrangement is ideal for families with small children.

With a six-person hot tub, 46” HDTV with DVD and satellite service, multi-room stereo with CDs, stainless steel BBQ, teak outdoor furniture, game table, a wide selection of games and books, and an apple orchard at the top of the property with a swing and glider for the kids, there’s always something to do.
Watch ships and freighters cruise Admiralty Inlet as the sun sets behind the Olympic Mountains. Walk down the concrete path to the beautiful beach where you can build sand castles with the kids. The beach also has a sheltered picnic table next to a barbecue pit. Or enjoy the private, fully fenced heated 40' pool. South Whidbey State Park is also just a short ten minute walk where you can hit the hiking trails and experience nature’s true beauty.

The Beach Cabin is adjacent to the large lawn, just set back from the water's edge. It features a queen bedroom with a luxurious Westin Heavenly Bed with 800 thread count sheets and down comforter. There is a full kitchen with a dishwasher, tile countertops, wood stove, dining area, satellite TV with VCR and DVD, and comfortable yet stylish furniture and decor.

Boasting its own impressive views and private deck, a second bedroom and 3/4 bath in the Eagle’s Nest Cabin provides relaxed and comfortable separate sleeping quarters in between the main house and the cabin. A lighted concrete path and phone intercom system connects the three dwellings, allowing for both privacy and togetherness at your choosing.

Whidbey Beachfront House + Cabins (6 bedrooms):
Summer: $6500/week, $995/night
Holidays: $4900/week, $725/night - min 3 nights
Shoulder season (May, early June, Sept) $725/night
Off-Peak: $3500/week, $595/night (2 night minimum, 3rd night 1/2 price)

Whidbey Beachfront House (4 bedrooms): Off-Peak only: $3300/week, $395/night 3+ nights weekends or 2 nights midweek.

Summer season: minimum stay 7 nights mid-June through Labor Day. Peak rates apply June- September and Holidays, and include our 40' private heated swimming pool at the beach.

14 person max for House and Cabins at all times, 10 person max for House only.

Master Bedroom: California King bed with Ralph Lauren duvet and 800 thread count linens, modern Paloma gas fireplace, floor to ceiling wood windows looking west to beach, water, mountains. Elevated bath area with soaking tub and views through bedroom to the water and mountains beyond. Includes steam shower, double sinks inset in green granite slab counters. Separate walk-in closet.

Bedroom 2: Queen bed plus two stacked twin bunk beds separated by privacy curtain, large dresser, built in Lyptus writing desk, built in reading lights, night stand, beautiful beach and water views. Excellent lighting.

Bedroom 3: Comfortable King bed which transforms into a sofa (new Sept 2008 from American Leather) and day bed. 46” LCD HDTV with 5.1 surround sound system. Sweeping water and mountain views. Exterior door opens to covered porch and hot tub. Cork floating floors throughout room and hallway areas.

Bedroom 4: This small but very cool bedroom is elevated 3 wide stairs above Bedroom 3/Family Room, and its fir French doors opens directly into Bedroom 3.Captains bed has twin mattress on top and 2nd twin mattress in pull out trundle drawer. Great water and forest views from this room as well. Ideal for kids with parents sleeping in Bedroom 3, or single adults.

Bedroom 5: The Eagles Nest bedroom is actually its own separate cabin suite. Newly redecorated in Fall 2008, this is a favorite of many of our repeat guests. Double bed, new pillowtop mattress set, antique cherrywood bed, amazing water views, and its own view deck. Amenities include TV/DVD with Satellite service, ¾ bathroom with shower, coffeemaker, hairdryer, and phone. Closest cabin to main house (10 steps).

Bedroom 6: This lovely bedroom suite with a Westin “Heavenly Bed” mattress is contained in its own 800 sq ft cabin, at beach level. Pottery Barn shell patterned duvet cover around a down comforter sets the beachy theme for this cozy bedroom. Cabin has separate living and dining area, full kitchen, stereo system with CDs, TV with DVD/VCR/Satellite service, and ¾ bathroom with shower.
