Enjoy your mountain getaway in luxury!  Perched near the top, half way between Great Camp and Camp Eagles Nest, The Refuge at Eagles Nest is sure to make an unforgettable retreat with both sunrise and set views.  It’s reclaimed red oak wood floors, gourmet kitchen, spacious vaulted ceilings, custom bar, magnificent bedrooms and baths, and unbeatable long range views truly make this cabin shine.  Located at over 4500 feet, you’ll be able to beat the heat the summer brings while also being just a short drive from down town Banner Elk and all the winter sports offered by both Beech  (under 15 minutes to arrive at Beech) and Sugar Mountains.

 

Relax in front of the beautiful stone fire where you’re sure to enjoy a nice gas log fireplace on the main floor.  With a wide open concept, you’ll be able to stay connected with your guests as you prepare wonderful meals on the Wolf Gas Range in the Gourmet Kitchen. 

 

The Refuge offers 5 bedrooms.  A main level master suite provides guests with a king-sized bed and on suite bathroom.  You’ll love the double vanities, tiled shower, and beautiful hammered copper bath.  The lower level provides an additional bedroom with a king bed and a private bath.  The three final rooms are located on the upper level.  Here you will find a queen bedroom, a king bedroom, and a bunk room with 2 separate twin-over-full bunkbeds (sleeping for 6 guests).  Each bedroom is equipped with a Smart TV for guest use.

 

Whether you’re enjoying the the outdoor gas fireplace while you marvel in the amazing far mountain view or you are enjoying the game room on the lower level with ping pong and the custom bar just a few feet away, The Refuge at Eagles Nest will be the perfect fit for any luxury escape. The lower level features a second gas log fireplace and TV, as well. The lower deck has a newly installed hot tub!

This home is not pet friendly. Thank you for not bringing pets to this home.

Please note all visitors on premise must be 16 years or older.  This is strictly enforced. 

 

Guest do not have access to the locked off portion of the Sportsman’s Lodge, the Fitness Center, or the Wine & Cigar Bar. That is for member use only.


Additional Notes:
- The North Pavilion is host to several summer parties including a Fourth of July celebration and concerts which guests are more than welcome to attend however, in the event there is a wedding or other private party, guests are not allowed in or near the Sportsmans Lodge.
- The main roads are plowed in winter, but 4WD or AWD vehicles are required November-March, and chains may also be necessary to access all properties in winter months.
- All stays at Eagles Nest homes have an additional amenity fee in order to maintain the luxurious facilities and features in the development.
- Eagles Nest is an up and coming community, with construction currently going on in several of its neighborhoods. Construction noises may be heard from 7am-7pm Monday-Saturday.
-Guests are not allowed to bring their own ATV's. For information about ATV rentals please visit:

- Guests are responsible for supplying their own recreational equipment (basketballs, soccer balls, tennis equipment etc.)
- The summer concerts are open to all guests however there is an admission fee for each person and cash bar for food and drinks.
- All linens and towels provided for your stay.
- Firewood may be added at the time of booking or by reaching out to us more than a week in advance. You'll receive two wrapped bundles and a firestarter for $25/night.
- Please note that all Eagles Nest homes have internet, but some areas of travel may not have cell reception


Bookings canceled at least 14 days before the start of the stay will receive 100% refund, bookings canceled at least 7 days before the start of the stay will receive 50% refund
