Casa Bella is an upscale mountain home located in the Yonahlossee gated neighborhood, less than 4 miles from downtown Blowing Rock. Boone is less than 5 miles away. The Blue Ridge Parkway and Moses Cone Manor and Trails can be reached in just 2 miles. Trout Lake, Bass Lake and Hebron Falls Trails can be found within a distance of 3 miles.
Casa Bella is also close to Sky Valley Zip Line Tours (4 miles), Tweetsie Railroad, Appalachian Ski Mountain (with ski slopes and ice skating) (both less than 9 miles), Valle Crucis village with the riverfront park and the original Mast General Store (10 miles), Seven Devils town with Otter Falls Trail & Hawksnest Snow Tubing & Zip Lines (10 miles), Grandfather Mountain & the Profile Trails (12 miles), Sugar Mountain Ski Resort (12 miles), Banner El The Watauga River and middle fork/southfork of the New River are only about 6 miles apart. Watauga Falls, Linville Caverns, and Watauga lake are all less than 30 miles from each other.
The main floor of Casa Bella features an open concept greatroom, kitchen and dining room. All of these rooms have hardwood floors, and large windows that let in natural light. The kitchen is equipped with granite countertops, a stainless steel double sink mounted under the counter and is fully stocked to prepare meals for a large family. The adjacent dining room has a banquet style dining table that can seat 8 guests. In addition, the bar comfortably seats 4 more people. This allows for indoor dining of up to 12 people. The great room is a stylish mix of leather and linen furniture. The stone gas log fireplace and the wall of large windows with seasonal mountain views are the focal points. The great room has vaulted, soaring ceilings. On the main floor, there is a half-bathroom and a powder room. The queen bedroom suite has a full bathroom ensuite with a bathtub and shower combination and an HD Smart television.
The upstairs has a large, private master suite with vaulted wood shutters. These shutters can be opened to let you see the great room and closed to minimize sound and privacy. This suite features a king-sized bed, a large HD SmartTV with a soundbar and a comfortable chaise lounge chair. It is ideal for reading and napping. There is a large closet, a full ensuite bathroom with double vanities for both men and women, and a jetted Jacuzzi-style bathtub and shower combination.
The lower level has a large central game room and den with a slate-top pool table. There is also a comfortable seating area with a HD Smart TV, soundbar and some nice audio/stereo gear. In the game room, there is a small sink and bar. Guests can enjoy a cabinet of games and puzzles. The lower level offers a queen-sized suite with a HD Smart TV and comfy chair. There is also plenty of space to place a cot or crib. This is a spacious bedroom. Through a second entrance, the bedroom and den have direct access to a full bathroom. This bathroom features a tub-shower combo. The fourth bedroom has a twin bed, a twin trundle that can be raised and locked in place to create a king-sized bed instead of two twins. This fourth bedroom has an HD Smart TV and a vintage desk and chair. It is a cozy and quiet place to catch up on work. On the lower level, you will also find a laundry room with a utility basin and a washer/dryer.
The main level patio has lounge and chair seating as well as a bistro-style table, an electric barbecue, and a waterfall feature that is available seasonally. The lower deck of the rear has a hot tub, a table and chairs and a large outdoor table. A covered carport is located in front of the main entrance. It has parking for one vehicle and a short walk to the covered porch. A second vehicle can be parked directly in front of main entrance. Additional vehicles can park at one of the many nearby guest parking areas. Casa Bella offers digital cable TV, WiFi internet and central heating and cooling for year-round comfort.
Casa Bella guests are welcome to use the facilities at the Yonahlossee Racquet Club. Casa Bella is less than a half mile from the pro shop, outdoor tennis courts, indoor swimming pool and indoor tennis facility, as well as the fitness center and indoor tennis facility, all within walking distance. The indoor and outdoor tennis courts, pickleball, bocceball, and tanning deck are all available. Please note that the indoor amenities, as well as the outdoor courts, are only open during the staffed hours which vary seasonally. For a small fee you can reserve courts. Please contact the Pro Shop by calling 828-963-1800 for more information on hours and availability. Enjoy the trails, picnic areas, small streams and creeks, and ample outdoor areas. There are marked trails nearby that are perfect for the more experienced hiker. Some of these lead to boulder fields, which are great for rock climbers. Our Yonahlossee properties are home to many cyclists who enjoy the cycling along and around Shulls Mill Road, the Blue Ridge Parkway and other popular routes. Casa Bella offers all the comforts you need to enjoy the high country.
