Stone Creek Cabin was designed with care by the owner and builder to be a family-friendly mountain getaway destination. It is an idyllic getaway for guests who can bring their own provisions. Even the family dog is welcome (restrictions apply and pet fees may apply). This is located in Vilas a quiet mountain town only 7 miles away from downtown Boone. It's a convenient and central location for anyone on vacation in the High Country. The village of Valle Crucis with its Original Mast General Store, and the Valle Crucis Riverfront Community Park are also nearby. They are both about 6 miles. The Watauga river is less than five miles away. This home is within 20 miles of downtown Banner Elk, Tweetsie Railroad and Appalachian Ski Mountain. Also, this home is close to Grandfather Mountain and the popular Profile Hiking Trails. The main and lower levels are both accessible from two parking areas, one at the entrance to the main level and the other at the side. This bathroom also has a laundry room with a washer/dryer. The second King-sized bedroom suite is located on the upper level. This suite is spacious and private, with vaulted tongue and groove ceilings. It also features an HD Smart TV and a private bathroom with a granite countertop, frameless glass shower, and custom-tiled walls.
