Stone Creek Cabin, a custom-built mountain-modern creekside house with 4BRs and 3BAs. This quiet mountain community can be found just minutes from downtown Boone and the Watauga river. Stone Creek Cabin was designed with care by the owner and builder to be a family-friendly mountain getaway destination. The amenities include a Fireplace, HD Smart TVs and HD Pool Table, Central Heat and AC. This 2-acre property sits in a large, flat meadow that has a creek and valley views. It is an idyllic getaway for guests who can bring their own provisions. Even the family dog is welcome (restrictions apply and pet fees may apply). This is located in Vilas a quiet mountain town only 7 miles away from downtown Boone. It's a convenient and central location for anyone on vacation in the High Country. The village of Valle Crucis with its Original Mast General Store, and the Valle Crucis Riverfront Community Park are also nearby. They are both about 6 miles. The Watauga river is less than five miles away. This home is within 20 miles of downtown Banner Elk, Tweetsie Railroad and Appalachian Ski Mountain. Also, this home is close to Grandfather Mountain and the popular Profile Hiking Trails. The main and lower levels are both accessible from two parking areas, one at the entrance to the main level and the other at the side. The main floor has an open and bright floor plan, with wood floors, large glass doors and windows, and vaulted ceilings with exposed beams. The kitchen features stainless steel appliances and gorgeous leathered granite bar and counter tops. The ample cabinetry, prep area, and supplies allow for easy preparation and serving of meals to a large house. The adjacent dining room has a table that can accommodate up to eight guests. With the six bar stool seats on the top of the kitchen island, up to fourteen people can dine at once. The Living Room features comfortable furniture, a stone fireplace with gas logs, and a large HD Smart TV. Glass doors flanking the fireplace lead out to an outdoor dining area and a patio with outdoor furniture and a gas grill. The decks on the main level overlook the wood-burning fireplace, the flat backyard meadow and the bold creek. On the main floor, there is a powder room and a half-bath. Stone Creek Cabin has two King suites. The main floor King Suite has an HD SmartTV and a private ensuite with a large level-entry tiles, frameless custom shower and a double granite vanity with His and Hers sinks. This bathroom also has a laundry room with a washer/dryer. The second King-sized bedroom suite is located on the upper level. This suite is spacious and private, with vaulted tongue and groove ceilings. It also features an HD Smart TV and a private bathroom with a granite countertop, frameless glass shower, and custom-tiled walls. Enjoy Mountain Views through the dormer windows and custom-made window seat. The lower level has high tongue-and groove ceilings, and glass doors leading to the lower courtyard with a fire pit and hot tub. The Den is located at the bottom of the stairs. It has a large HD Smart TV, comfortable furniture and a full-sized sofa sleeper. The Game Room, with a slate pool table, is located next to the Den. The lower entertainment areas and two bedrooms are serviced by a central full bathroom that has a double granite sink vanity, a deep soaking bathtub with shower and tile surround. The Queen bedroom features a HD Smart TV with large windows that overlook the creekside meadow and views. The bunk room has two Twin-over Twin bunk beds that can accommodate 4 guests. The large flat meadow is a rare find in this property. It's a short walk from the courtyard and fire pit. It is a large area, over an acre, that is ideal for outdoor games, and a place where children and dogs can run free. A bold creek runs the entire length of the property at the back of the meadow. A mountain trout may just pass through every now and again! Stone Creek Cabin offers all-new furniture and amenities. It also features the latest technology, including HD Smart TVs and high-speed WiFi. The owners have made sure to provide a 5-Star experience to all guests.
