Enjoy this romantic cozy cabin near the top of Beech Mountain featuring an indoor jacuzzi tub for two. The Buck And The Bear Cabin, located on Beech Mountain, is less than five minutes from Beech Mountain Ski Resort, offering year-round outdoor activities for the whole family. In winter, you will find your favorite activities like skiing, snowboarding, and snow tubing. In summer, guests can experience award-winning mountain bike trails, hiking, disc golf, and scenic lift rides. Several hiking trails, including Smoketree Trail, Lower Pond Creek Trail, and Sassafras Trail, are within a 5 minutes drive from the cabin. Buckeye Recreation Center is less than three miles away, with fishing, basketball, tennis courts, a playground, and a hiking trail to a beautiful waterfall. The Village of Beech Mountain is a short drive and offers local dining and shopping options. The town of Banner Elk is a 20-minute drive with attractions like Banner Elk Winery and Vineyard, the Wilderness Run Alpine Coaster, Sugar Creek Gem Mining, and Sugar Mountain Ski Resort. 

The Buck And The Bear Cabin is a two-level mountain chalet boasting two cozy living areas for your ultimate relaxation. The main floor living room has tongue and groove vaulted ceilings with exposed wood beams that add a touch of rustic allure. A stacked rock gas fireplace is the focal point of the room, and is surrounded by comfortable leather furniture, inviting you to unwind after a day of adventure. Cook up your favorite meal in the kitchen featuring stainless steel appliances, and gather around the dining room to eat and share stories from your mountain adventures. Relax on the back deck with your morning coffee or a book while taking in the fresh mountain air. Downstairs, the game room offers an additional place to gather around the Roku TV and pool table. The pool table can also be converted into a ping-pong table, making for an exciting game night for all. Step outside to the large wood-burning fire pit to roast marshmallows and enjoy the mountain views.

The Buck And The Bear Cabin has three bedrooms and three bathrooms to accommodate up to eight guests. The main floor master bedroom features a king bed, full futon, TV, and private ensuite with a step-in shower. A wall air conditioning unit and electric wall fireplace are provided for your comfort. Downstairs the queen bedroom has a Roku TV, electric fireplace, and wall air conditioning unit. The third bedroom is located downstairs and has one queen and one full bed and a Roku TV. This room does not have air conditioning, but does have a wall mounted electric fireplace. The lower level bathroom has heated floors and a 2-person jacuzzi tub with a rain shower head.

Additional amenities include WiFi, and a washer and dryer. The common areas are heated with heat monitors, but do not have air conditioning. The Roku TVs are setup for guests to log into their own streaming accounts. Up to two dogs are welcome with an additional pet fee. The gravel pull-through driveway has room for three vehicles. Please be advised that there are exterior security cameras in place. The home is accessed via a short flight of stairs and deck leading to the front door. AWD or 4WD is recommended for winter travelers.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
You may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund. If you cancel more than 30 days before arrival, you will receive a refund of half the amount paid to date. Cancellations within 30 days before the arrival date do not receive a refund. If you purchase travel insurance and the reason for the cancellation is covered, you may recover the entire amount.
