Stairway to Heaven is conveniently located near Hendersonville and numerous area attractions, including the Brevard Music Center, Flat Rock Playhouse, WNC Agricultural Center, Blue Ridge Parkway, and North Mills River Recreational Area. The nearby Green River tumbles through a dramatic gorge, making it a popular spot for tubing, rafting, kayaking, and trout fishing. Chimney Rock and Lake Lure are only 15 minutes away, with quaint shops, micro brews and restaurants. The scenic drive from Hendersonville to Chimney Rock and Lake Lure passes through Edneyville's famous Apple Country. A smooth trip on the interstate takes you to bustling downtown Asheville, well-known for its abundance of shopping, dining, and entertainment options. Important Property Notes
4WD or AWD Required: Often the best views in WNC are the hardest to get to. The property you are staying at requires a 4WD or AWD vehicle to access year round due to the steep driveway. Please ensure that your vehicle is properly equipped and the 4WD/AWD feature is engaged before attempting to access the property. Vehicles that are not equipped with this feature may incur service charges for towing if they get stuck, or for repairs to the driveway necessitated by a 2WD vehicle spinning for traction. Please ensure your vehicle has sufficient clearance as well (i.e. SUV, Truck, or raised sedan). Low-clearance vehicles with 4WD/AWD are not recommended. For the extra effort, however, you are rewarded with seclusion, beauty, and a lot of fun just getting there!
Travel Insurance Recommended: During the winter months we ask you to please consider CSA Travel Insurance to protect your vacation investment from potential winter weather events that could prevent access to the home.
Seasonal Gas Fireplaces are not operational between Memorial Day and Labor Day.
Firewood is not provided for guest use. If you plan on using the wood-burning amenities, please purchase wood locally upon arrival.

Please note that this propertys Non-Refundable Period is 31 days prior to arrival. If your reservation is made within this period, it will be non-refundable from the time of booking. Cancellations are permitted outside of this period, per our vacation rental agreement. We encourage you to consider travel insurance to help protect your vacation investment against the unknown!
