The house is located in Beech Mountain, NC, a small vacation town. The home's remote location, small-town charm and tranquil ambiance make it a great place to relax and rejuvenate. The tranquil setting and natural surroundings offer a variety of attractions for you to enjoy, including a playground, an adventure tower and a seasonal sledding slope, Fredas Mercantile and a Taproom, a History Museum, a brewery, and more! Both Beech Mountain & Banner Elk have a wide range of activities at their fingertips, including skiing/snowboarding and snow tubing. Other activities include zip-lining, mountain bike riding, off-road ATVs and rafting. It is recommended that you have 4WD or an AWD vehicle to access Beech Mountain. The Town of Beech Mountain does an excellent job of clearing snow from the main roads in the winter. We highly recommend snow chains during winter months.
