Great location, easy to get a cab into Deadwood and we had an amazing time hanging on the porch and visiting by the fire." This beautiful, custom built lodge is a vacation in itself! The unique style and features, rustic timbers and upscale decor will be the perfect spot for your group! The beauty of the vaulted Great Room and wall of windows, provide warmth and fantastic scenery! The spacious 3-level home has 5 bedrooms, 3 1/2 baths, large kitchen-dining area, washer & dryer, large 3/4 wrap deck looking into the peaceful pines. The main level has a wood burning fireplace, flat screen TV and the lower family room has a gas fireplace with flat screen TV and ping-pong table. Surround stereo system wired throughout the home and to the outside deck. Bedrooms include:Main Level Master bedroom with King size bed This lodge is located in the Gilded Mountain Development - just minutes from the ski slopes, hiking and snowmobile trails, 6 miles from Deadwood, 20 miles from Sturgis. The Gilded Mtn. Subdivision also offers use of a classy Clubhouse! The Clubhouse is beautiful with log accents, cabin and mining decor, and the perfect additional place to enjoy your vacation! There is a walk-out to the deck off the dining room with lots of outdoor seating, an outdoor wood fireplace and a private hot tub.
The roads are paved to the lodge, except the driveway and there is plenty of space for parking. Garage is NOT available.

The Ore Car is a wonderful home with a great porch and space to allow for gathering as well as time spent with a book away from others. The communication was efficient and appropriate. We will stay here again.
Home was great, location was Absolutly beautiful, deer in our front yard every morning, plenty of room for all our kids, beds were very comfortable to sleep in as well. great place to stay with the family.
With a family vacation of 11 people, we needed a place that not only accommodated our family but our two dogs as well. The house was welcoming and felt like home! We were appreciative of everything our host offered and did for us. If you're looking for a home away from home, this is the place!
The grandchildren refer to this getaway home as the "fun house"
Just exploring the house, property, porch w/smores, and pool area is a must for them!!
