Property Description
E Komo Mai (Welcome) to your home away from home, your own private island oasis. Shall we go snorkeling amid the sea turtles, walk along the black sand beach, feast on local Hawaiian favorites such as Poke, Lomi Lomi Salmon, Musubi, Mangos, or Mai Tais. Maybe we will drive to the Volcano National Park and see lava flowing, the only place in the US that this is possible. What if we grab a book from Kona Isle library and sit by the pool, and then BBQ by the ocean while watching the magical sunset. Or possibly we will go hike Akaka Falls, visit one of the Hawaiian Botanical gardens, or simply gaze at the beauty of Rainbow Falls. Regardless of your plan, you are on vacation, you are in paradise, you live with Aloha. Settling into your comfortable 3rd floor, one-bedroom cozy quarters. You will find the lanai with an ocean view, 1 bedroom with a king-sized bed, with new furniture (2023) and appliances. The bathroom has a walk-in shower. The complex offers 4 propane barbecues with picnic area, a beautiful and shady lounge area that sits on a sandy man-made beach, a library, solar heated swimming pool ideally situated near the ocean’s edge, and mature Hawaiian garden landscape. The center of Kailua-Kona town is a short mile walk, or for a small price take the Trolley. It stops next door at Kona By the Sea, adjacent complex to the south of Kona Isle. Be sure to check out Ali’I Gardens Marketplace across the street for fresh local fruits, ono food, and souvenirs from local artists.
