Welcome to The Squeezebox!
If you are a fan of "The Who", you will definitely understand! For being a small cottage, this home sure does live LARGE. Newly painted and remodeled, this 3 bedroom, 2 bath cottage can accommodate 6 comfortably.
An opened-up kitchen, dining room and family room make this end of the house the place to hang out and watch the big game or a movie! The dining room seats 6 and a fully stocked kitchen awaits you.
The master bedroom has a king bed and newly remodeled en-suite with a walk-in shower. A second bedroom comes with a queen bed, plenty of storage and a cozy reading chair. The third bedroom has two extra-long twins beds, a computer desk and chair. Those two bedrooms share the hall bathroom.
Enjoy the side patio with a gas grill and table seating for six while entertaining outdoors, or enjoy your privacy in the secluded, fully fenced-in back yard with its extensive professional landscaping including Olive trees, palms and ferns.
Several delightful restaurants and cafes are within a few blocks of the home. Harris Teeter (grocery), a variety of shops and a movie theater are less than a mile away. Play a round of golf at the Sea Palms golf course, also less than a mile away. Drive down Frederica Road with its' beautiful live oaks and Spanish moss canopy on your way to the beach (approximately 4 miles away). The St. Simons village, pier and Lighthouse are also just minutes away.

Our family of 5 enjoyed the Squeezebox! We stopped at SSI on our way home after a trip to Disney, ready for a couple of days to unwind. We felt welcomed the minute we opened the door, like we were staying at a friend's house. The basics were met--comfortable beds, kitchen was well stocked, and it was clean. But the details made out short stay enjoyable: lovely art, deep seating in the living room, clear instructions for the TVs, good lighting, and different outdoor spaces where we could find time to ourselves. We are used to staying closer to the Village, so I wasn't sure about this location, but it turned out great with it being close to other shopping areas and the grocery store. I would stay here again and would definitely recommend it!

Very positive. We loved the house and the location was great (if you are not right on the beach).
Only difficulty was adjusting the air conditioning.

We found The Squeezebox to be as cute as a button. The cottage is cozy and comfy with a good internet for those who have to work while enjoying SSI. The beds are comfortable, and the TVs in every room are big and “smart”. The kitchen is well equipped, and when we don’t feel like cooking we can walk to many close by good restaurants. The front porch, side patio or enclosed backyard make outdoor time exactly as you might want it. The neighborhood is nice and quiet and neighbors helpful. It’s a great place for that morning walk. I am very much a beach person - and Massengale Park and beach area is only a few miles away by car - or if you are inclined a very good bike ride. My husband and I have been totally comfortable and happy in this adorable cottage. We would recommend that you give the Squeezebox a try!
