There is a large, flat grassy area in front of the cottage leading down to the lake, which provides lots of green space for the children in the party to play on. A fire pit is located down by the water's edge so your family can enjoy an evening campfire along with marshmallow roasting and star gazing.

Berford Lake is a spring fed, medium size lake with a good population of bass, perch and pickerel.

• The entry into the water is shallow with a sandy apron. Once in the water the shore consists of flat limestone rock and clay.
  If you prefer, there is a public sand beach located less than a five minute walk away

DOCKING FACILITIES

• Available at Wiarton Marina. The cottage does not have any docking facilities

WHEELCHAIR ACCESS

• Cottage is not designed for wheel chair access.

LIMITATIONS

• Individuals 16 years of age or older count as adults.


• Pets are not permitted.


• Renters are responsible to do a full clean of the cottage (cleaning supplies provided) and remove all garbage/recycling at the end of the rental period. If this is not done cleaning/garbage disposal fees will be charged. Please see full cleaning list HERE.
