Close to town and thoughtfully designed, this Craftsman style home is an ideal mountain escape. Four bedrooms, including two Master suites, across two levels, means there is room for everyone.

Enter onto the home's main level, where a comfortable seating area surrounds a gas fireplace and large flatscreen television. While the little ones relax after a day of adventuring, the adults will enjoy gathering around the granite kitchen island for afternoon refreshments.  And when dinner is ready, there is seating for 10 at the large dining table.

Upstairs, the Master bedroom is outfitted with a King bed, gas fireplace, television, and walk-in closet. Enjoy forest views from the bedroom windows, and an en suite bath with jetted tub and separate shower. A charming queen bedroom and a bunk room, sleeping four, are also upstairs and share a full bath. On the main floor, directly off the entry, is a private King bedroom with a television and en suite bath, ideal for guests who may prefer to avoid the stairs to the second story guest rooms.

During the summer months, the expansive walk out deck with gas grill is the perfect place to enjoy a meal al fresco. Take advantage of nearby bike trails offering a quick ride to downtown Truckee, or pop over to The Mill Juice Shop, Full Belly Deli, or Pacific Crest Coffee, all just one mile from your door.

ABOUT THE AREA
Gray’s Crossing, a 750-acre property on the north end of Martis Valley, offers peaceful seclusion from crowds and traffic without a sense of isolation. With hundreds of acres of open space and loads of hiking and biking trails, it will feel like a remote location. Yet it’s anything but, when you realize you’re 1.5 miles from Downtown Truckee with its vibrant shops and restaurants.

In the heart of the community is critically acclaimed Peter Jacobsen and Jim Hardy championship golf course – The Golf Club at Gray’s Crossing. You can celebrate your best shots at PJ’s Grill, but you don’t have to play golf to enjoy Truckee’s finest outdoor dining with several fire pits and an expansive lawn where all ages can play.

In the summer, you are a minutes from the Truckee Bike Park and a short drive from Donner Lake. At Donner Lake, you’ll find paddleboard and kayak rentals, public docks along the north shore and several sandy beaches along the east shore. Northstar California offers additional summer activities for the whole family, including golf, mountain biking, hiking, and a ropes course. And of course, Lake Tahoe! Just a 15 minute drive brings you to a variety of public beaches on Tahoe’s north shore.

In the winter, Northstar California offers world class skiing and snowboarding for all ages and ability levels. The resort also boasts a public ice rink, and a variety of après and dining options. Taking a day off from the slopes? Take the whole family to the movies at the Village Cinema.
