Property Description

Great family friendly vacation rental perfectly located on a sunny and peaceful lot in Alpine Meadows. Your guests will love the location, close to nearby trailheads for summer hiking and fishing, or a short drive up the valley to Palisades Tahoe at Alpine Meadows or around the corner to Olympic Valley. The main living area is spacious yet cozy for everyone to hang out. Enjoy the wood fireplace on chilly evenings. A flatscreen TV sits to the side so as not to distract friendly fireside gatherings.  In the winter, kids will love the open space behind the home for snowplay and sledding!

Back inside, the kitchen has been updated with stainless steel appliances that the chef in your group will surely appreciate and the dining area will comfortably sit 6 with space for two more at the counter. Lots of windows and vaulted ceilings allow the outdoors in with bright light and tree filled views.  Take dinner outside in the warmer months and enjoy the sunny and perfectly peaceful back deck area that extends just off of the living area.

As for sleeping arrangements, there are two spacious guests rooms on the main floor, one with an ensuite bath. The main stair case off the living room leads to an upstairs loft that little ones will love returning to every afternoon!  Two twins, trundle and futon sofa ensure space for memorable sleep overs. Below the main living areal, accessed by an exterior door as you come up the stairs is a storage/gear room with a washer/dryer.

If you are planning on hitting the mountain hop onto the Base to Base Gondola that connects the Alpine Meadows Lodge to The Village at Palisades Tahoe. Alpine Meadows Lodge is about a short 10-minute drive to The Village at Palisades Tahoe. The Mountaineer Shuttle is a free, on-demand shuttle servicing both resorts during the winter months. POLICIES & DISCLOSURES:
1. Maximum Day Time & Night Time Occupancy is 6 with one additional child allowed.
2. Parking for 2 vehicles.  Street parking is prohibited year-round.
3. Property is in a very high snow load area, 4WD is highly recommended.
4. There exists a significant number of exterior steps leading to the front entrance, rendering it unsuitable for guests with mobility concerns. Additionally, it is necessary to provide a winter disclaimer due to the area's exposure to heavy snowfall. Please note that Tahoe Getways will ensure shoveling of the steps is completed on the day of arrival exclusively. Any maintenance required to keep the steps clear during a guest's stay is the sole responsibility of said guest, for which shovels will be provided to facilitate snow removal. 
5. The bunk room is a LOFT and open to the lower level
6. Laundry room is accessed through exterior door prior to front door.
7. Due to Extreme Fire Danger – The use of ANY outdoor firepit or fireplace is strictly prohibited at any of our rental properties. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work to keep our community safe from wildfires.
