At the heart of the festival are fresh local oysters served in a variety of styles, along with other coastal favorites from regional food vendors. Oyster shucking contests, live music, arts and crafts vendors, and family-friendly activities create an energetic atmosphere throughout the weekend. A festival celebrating everything Oyster as Ocean Isle Beach becomes a festival wonderland offering a variety of foods, live music, arts & crafts, and fun for the entire family. The North Carolina Oyster Festival is your destination for fun in the sun! Activities and musical performances at Town Center Park in Ocean Isle Beach. The festival kicks off Friday evening with live music starting at 6. The famous oyster shucking contest will be held on Saturday and there will be plenty of oyster dishes to sample, as well as, cuisine of all types. Bring a chair to sit back, relax, and enjoy the live music.
