The Cape San Blas Lighthouse is one of the most iconic landmarks on Florida’s Forgotten Coast. Originally built in the 1800s, the current lighthouse was completed in 1885 and served as a navigational aid for vessels entering St. Joseph Bay. The lighthouse is located at the northern tip of the St. Joseph Peninsula, near the entrance to Cape San Blas. While the lighthouse itself is not open for interior tours, the surrounding grounds are accessible to the public.
