Chanticleer: Named after a French song of the same name, you are greeted at the covered entry by a fabulous wrought iron chicken sculpture. This is a sign of things to come as this stunning ocean view home delights the visual sense with a plethora of fine art.
Floor to ceiling windows provide magnificent views over a wooded glade to a whitewater view of the Pacific. Very comfortable leather chairs and a sofa offer terrific views regardless of whether you are facing the ocean or not. An open floor plan is punctuated by a unique fireplace situated in the middle of the room.
Redwood paneling offers a warmth not usually seen in these days of drywall interiors yet the interior is amazingly cheerful and bright thanks to myriad windows and lighting. The master suite gives one the feeling of staying at a fine hotel with its own sitting room. Outside decks lead to manicured gardens and a viewing deck up a walkway from the house is a favorite spot to enjoy the sunsets and watch the woodpeckers. Bring your dog and enjoy walks around this upscale Mendocino neighborhood.
