Today that rough and tumble silver mining past is evident in the quaint architecture that the houses our many bars, clubs, and shops lining Historic Main Street. You can feel in the exciting, slightly unpredictable party atmosphere that entertained the world during the 2002 Olympic Winter Games. The town is filled with artist, independent film makers, musicans and actors World Famous Sundance Film Festival, shoping includes everything from hand made furniture, books, sportswear, and unique botique clothing to art collectables, and western antiques. Historic Main Street is lined with quaint shops, and galleries.
The Sundance Film Festival is universally regarded as the formost showcase for American independent films. The Festival culminates in the live broadcast of the Sundance Film Festival Awards, where kudos for excellence are bestowed by a jury and by audience vote.
