Everyone dreams of a sun drenched Caribbean style cottage, like this one, tucked away behind a tall picket privacy fence where flowers drape over the weathered slats. Beyond the gate, only the brick lined crescent shaped pool surrounded by a patio and multi-level decking, make this blissful garden cottage even more ideal to relax, kick back, and escape the pressures of the present. Multiple sets of French doors lead sunshine and fresh air to the open living room - dining - kitchen area. The rooms feel spacious and a nice mix of tropically stylish and comfortable furniture and tasteful artwork make you feel at once at home.
The kitchen is a nice size and remodeled with pretty blonde cabinets. A long light green counter top spans between the kitchen and living room so that if you like to cook you can enjoy views of the garden and chat with your mates in the living room. Hanging light fixtures and tasteful back lighting make the entire space even more inviting. Walls throughout are painted in light soothing colors and original light pine planked floors in the living room and bedrooms have been refinished to show the beauty of the wood grain.
Bedrooms are left uncluttered with tasteful and the master bedroom has a queen sized bed and the second bedroom has two twin beds. There are two bathrooms. The bathrooms iareretrofitted with bright tile and wains coating, modern fixtures and elegant hardware. The living room has a queen sleeper sofa and can also offer additional sleeping if necessary. Best for up to 4 people but will sleep 6. Two bathrooms make it more comfortable if there are extra people.
Located in the Tennessee Williams neighborhood of historic Old Town Key West, this cottage is located off the beaten path yet close to the beach, shopping, and restaurants. It is also right next door to our Romantic Garden Cottage. While the properties are completely made separate with a large privacy fence, may be possible to rent the two properties together if you need more room.
Amenities: Private pool, private back deck, lovely tropical garden, street parking in front. A/C, cable TV, stereo, washer dryer, linens and towels are provided.
Activities: Close to the beach and beautifully manicured park. Close to shops, art galleries, restaurants, grocery store. Quiet Old Town location.
Smoking permitted only outside please.
Small pets may be permitted.
