Take a day trip to Traverse City or the Lelanau Peninsula and visit the antique shops. Don't forget a memento. Then, finish the day roasting marshmallows on your own private beach. The memories of Beulah will bring you back year after year like we have. Then your kids will ask, "when are we going to Crystal Lake?"

(30 minutes from Traverse City)
Directions - From Cadillac, MI, take M 115 to Benzonia (M 115/M31). At the stop light go straight staying on M31, go over the hill, turn left to Buelah on Spring Valley Drive, follow to the bottom of the hill and make the very first left onto Crystal Avenue. Go 9/10 of a mile to 6147 Crystal Avenue which is on the left, where you'll see a sign "Poplar Lodge"! Here's where your fun begins!!
