When the cab finally stops at our rented flat we are delighted to see that there is a beautiful garden right in front of the building. We walk up one flight of stairs and enter into our flat. We notice that the kitchen is very large and workable with a lovely dining room table to eat at. The reception room is charming with high ceilings. There are beautiful french doors leading out onto the private balcony over looking the pretty communal gardens below. The room glows with a natural golden hue. The original marble fireplace is the centre piece of this room and we were told it is 200 years old! The master bedroom is lovely with french doors leading out onto its own balcony which is bursting with pots of geraniums and trees. Our master bed is made up with fresh cool linens and lots of fluffy down-filled pillows. What a treat to wake up in the mornings in this lovely bedroom and to be able to sit and have coffee on our own private garden balcony.
