Big Bear offers fresh mountain air, open space, seclusion, a romantic getaway, starry nights, breathtaking views, mountain hiking, mountain biking, skiing, and fishing. You will love the style as well as the location of our luxury cabin. It is minutes from Bear mountain ski resort but just out of ear shot of the snow making equipment (it runs all night) and a short drive to the village. You may not want to leave this secluded resort like cabin situated on a large wooded lot complete with the only SAUNA in Big Bear. Ideal for relaxing with the family or hanging with your buddies. We are sure if you check out this beautiful luxury cabin you will join the ranks of delighted guests and become a valued regular. Bedroom 1 - Master Bedroom. Log style queen, pillow top mattress, in-room sauna.
Bedroom 2 - 4 poster lodge pole king bed.
Bedroom 3 - 2 sets of log bunks each consisting of a full on the bottom and a twin on top.
Plenty of pillows to choose from. Quilts and blankets galore.
Property Activities
Big Bear Lake lies 6,500 feet above sea level in a quaint little town with a fantastic rugged environment, located right in Southern California's back yard! We are a unique mountain resort community located 100 miles northeast of Los Angeles and surrounded by the San Bernardino National Forest.
Big Bear averages over 300 sunny days per year! Altitude ranges from 6,500 to 9,000 feet. Summer temperatures average around 80 degrees during the day, and 45 degrees at night. Winter brings about 100 inches of snowfall, and temperatures which average in the low 40's during the day, and mid 20's at night. Our lake is a fresh water lake seven miles long. The average width is 1/2 mile, with a maximum depth of 72 feet and over 22 miles of shoreline.
Snow skiing and boarding, water skiing, hiking, mountain biking, fishing, boating, parasailing, jetskiing, camping and tubing are some of the great activities you can enjoy in your Big Bear mountain experience. It's home to one of the nation's only alpine solar observatories. Big Bear also features a public zoo, a nine-hole golf course, and seven public campgrounds.
The Big Bear boulevard offers lots of shopping and dining experiences. Whether you like to search for antiques, or want to bring your family to the Moonridge Zoo, there are plenty of activities to keep everyone happy.
