Casa Leroux, with an adobe privacy wall wrapping the entire house and enclosing a garden of luscious high desert professional landscaping offers two brick patio / porticos for extended outdoor living space. The upscale luxury decor offers ease and comfort, rich colors and textures and discriminating taste.
Built by one of Taos' foremost architect / builders / artisans (Werner Duetra) Casa Leroux boasts high Viga ceilings of pine logs interspersed with aspen and shaved spruce latillas. All walls are graced with large view windows to give this inviting home an additional sense of warmth and light. Werner, also a master wood worker, hand crafted the outstanding cabinetry throughout. Tile floors are accented with Afghan, Persian and Native American rugs. Leather sofas, South West textile throws and original art works of paintings and sculptures create an atmosphere that invites one to relax and enjoy the beauty of the varied landscape and changing seasons.
