Property Activities
Ocean Sands Beach Club Resort is located at 3208 Hill Street New Smyrna Beach, Florida 32169 (an actual sand road) at the intersection of 22nd Street. The buildings sit 100 feet closer to the ocean than you could legally build today.
This dark, star filled moonlit, quiet family beach: is a nesting ground for Seaturtles and is in a federally protected area which limits traffic and lights near the beach. This makes for a nature filled DARK secluded beach you would only find on a deserted island. Here you will walk into a star filled moonlight postcard at your doorstep. Without any large resorts nearby the beachfront is empty and quiet yet walk south on the beach 250 feet to find Chases beachside Tiki bar and restaurant. Walk across the street for Manny's Pizza which appeals to all ages. Activities: The activities director on site will have daily agendas to keep kids of all ages busy. Everyday there is a different event. Pool party on Wednesday will have music, pool toys, hamburgers, hotdogs and cokes. The bingo games and group beachwalks will allow you to meet families from all over the world. The resort is conveniently located two miles from the only bridges which access the mainland routes allowing easy day trips to Orlando and other area attractions.
Your PRIVATE entrance front door feels like home : allowing first floor walk-in units handicap accessibility at this family oriented small 22-unit resort. For cold seasons we even have a heated pool. The Queen size sleeper sofa in the den is very comfortable (does NOT have that bar across) and has all linens. The kitchen has modern appliances provided including: dishwsher, microwave, toaster, coffeemaker, blender, ice maker, vacuum cleaner, Iron and board. The unit has a private direct phone line w/voice mail and wireless internet. There are ceiling fans in every room and even a wall mounted hair drier in the 5 x 5 shower in master bathroom. The rooms are tiled through out including kitchen and on your furnished private patio. The decor is bright and beach themed with quality furniture including the newest feature the 'Sleep Number' bed as seen on TV. This is the bed with the adjustable firmness for each side to sleep different.
Multiple staff members are on site daily including: our Front desk which has 1-3 staff members on site ALL DAY long 7 days a week!!.....................Housekeeping is available any day and will pick-up and exchange dirty linens for clean resort linens (towels, sheets, etc) on Tuesdays and Thursday. Just leave outside your door..............Maintenance team members are in house and on duty daily to fix anything gone wrong. You will NOT sit for days waiting for repairs or a call back from a distant promise. They are ON SITE to step in to help with any emergency......7 DAYS A WEEK.............I mentioned the Activities director above, need I say more. We also have a security patrol by Carlos until 11pm when he locks the pool. The beach is maintained by the city and trained Lifeguards posted on 'Baywatch' style stands every half mile as well as beach patrols in small rescue trucks to monitor daytime activities.
Golf: available for several courses in the area. We also have two BBQ grills to cook burgers or fresh seafood. This city is truly in the middle of it all with Daytona Beach 30 minutes north with all the whirlwind of activities (fortunately not at your beach). Orlando with all the theme parks and activities in itself can take a week to explore is only 1 hour away. To the south 1 hour is Kennedy Space Center and Cape Canaveral for deep sea fishing, cruise ships and NASA tours with weekly minor launches. On the beach sea turtles hatch until August although they are becoming rare.

My wife, 4 kids and I just returned from a week at Ocean Sands and I would like to verify that it was just as the literature describes it. The condo was clean and comfortable, the pool was warm and the beach was right there. The accomodations were great, and David gave us all the info we needed to enjoy a week in New Smyrna Beach. I would definitely go back!

We decided to go to NSB and were on the beach - from Canada - in less than 12 short hours, let me say you cannot get any more "last-minute" than that !!
We had the luxury of having the ground floor unit right next to the pool area and it was so convenient. We have two children, 4 1/2 years and 16 months old. When the baby went down for his afternoon nap all we had to do was turn on the monitor and relax by the pool. My 4 1/2 year old daughter loved the pool and really loved the hot tub. We could not get her out of there!
Ocean Sands resort is very beautiful and clean. You are literally on the beach within a few footsteps. Staying here is much better than staying in any high-rise if you ask me. The covenience of everything from your own fully stocked unit, the pool area, the beach and any shopping and/or restaraunts will meet all of your expectations.
Did I mention that the fridge has its own ICE MAKER in it?? Well it does! And the kitchen is full serve to make any meal whatsoever. Sleep number bed......40 is my sleep number. And the master suite bath is huge!
Resort on site staff was always available with great service including the housekeeping, maintenance and front desk personnel. I would also like to add that New Smyrna Beach is probably the nicest beach and beach-town to go and vacation to.....all around Friendly.
A very big Thank You to David for all of his help booking our Last - Minute Luxury Vacation in New Smyrna Beach. We look forward to booking again next year, and probably will need 2 weeks just to take it ALL in again.

The descriptions presented are accurate! Fabulous resort that is well maintained and spotlessly clean. Having an involved owner was extremely helpful with meeting special needs - as an example we requested and had the twin beds converted to a king - making the perfect accomodations for two couples! Valuable information was forwarded prior to trip - including maps, guides, and local information.
The staff on site was very cooperative and helpful. The only issue we encountered was a lost code on a key ~ easily fixed by a friendly office! This is the first condo rental I have encountered with towel service twice within a weeks time.
Location is convenient yet quiet! I would recommend this site to anyone looking for comfort, safety, and convenience. The size of the complex is an added benefit! No huge parking areas to contend with and no elevators!
Guests were a mixture of young adults, families with children and mature adults! Everyone was friendly! The common areas were never crowded and the hot tub became an area to meet others and share!
We found a great restaurant on Route 1 headed north - called Blackbeard! FABULOUS service, great food and fairly priced!
Hopefully, we will get to return next year for another week of fun in the sun!

The Ocean Sands Beach Club was a great getaway from winter in Connecticut. The property was clean. It was nice to meet so many nice people from all over the country and Canada too. The layout of the condo was excellent with new amenities. It was clean and spacious. David did a great job describing the rental, as well as giving us many good suggestions for dining and site seeing. The location was ideal. The beach pristine. We hope to go back to the same unit at the same time next year. Strongly recommended!!! L and B from Connecticut.
