"Escape to the mountains" for peace and solitude. Today there is a mountain retreat that has retained much of the natural wonder and charm of yesteryear. Here at Scottish Woods Resort, you can still experience and enjoy the warmth and hospitality found in the old Scottish Bed and Breakfasts without flying to Scotland to do so. We've designed Scottish Woods to be an intimate resort. You enjoy the solitude of being "in the country", with the convenience of being "close to town". Scottish Woods Resort is a family-run business. You get to know the family. Scottish Woods is a special "experience" not just a "place to stay".
A log cabin with antique decor and Scottish theme in the beautiful mountains with hot tub, wood-burning fireplace, a mountain view, a mountain stream close enough to see and hear, nature trails, peace, quiet, and privacy.
This two bedroom, one bath, log cabin boasts wide-plank wood floors, wood walls and ceilings. The wood-burning fireplace keeps things cozy and warm. There's a queen-sized sofa-bed in the living room providing a third sleeping area if needed. Also enjoy the satellite TV, VCR, CD/cassette stereo, WI-FI and rockers on the porch.
