Casa Carole is a luxury 4 or 5-bedroom, private villa, located right on the beach in Puerto Vallarta's exclusive Conchas Chinas residential area, 1.5 miles south of downtown Vallarta. (It is also available as a 4-bedroom villa.) Our clients tell us it's the best value on the beach in PV. The villa's 6,600 square feet, on four levels, cascade down the hillside between the coast road and the beach below.
There is direct access through gorgeous gardens with tropical fruit you can pick in season to a secluded sandy beach with great snorkeling. Casa Carole is a fully staffed (cook, maid and houseman) classical Mexican colonial home with large windows and doors open to the sea breezes with elegant décor throughout and A/C in the bedrooms. LOCATION
Casa Carole is located right on the Pacific ocean, 2.4 kilometers (1.5 miles) south of downtown Puerto Vallarta, on the coast road between the famous Vallarta restaurant "El Set" and the Dreams all-inclusive Hotel. The address is 1348 Carreterra de Mismaloya.
SITUATION
This 6,600 square foot private villa is situated on the hillside between the coast road and the ocean below. The twin towers are circular staircases, which take you down through the villa to the pool deck. There is direct access to a secluded sandy beach. Each room is on a different level, providing privacy and beautiful vistas of the sea and the jungle.
Each of the five colour coded bedrooms is air-conditioned and has a luxurious bathroom ensuite and a private balcony with views of the sea below. There are 2 kings, 2 queens and a double bed. All linens and towels are supplied.
The villa is comfortably furnished with hand carved furniture from Guadalajara and traditional Mexican china and glassware. The common areas are cooled with breezes form the sea and ceiling fans. There is A/C in the bedrooms.
The chef’s kitchen is well stocked with small appliances and the dining room seats 10. Enjoy leisurely breakfasts or watch spectacular sunsets from the spacious dining room balcony under a protective palapa.
The 1,500 square foot pool deck is ideal for sun bathing, whale watching and informal entertaining. It features a 13’ x 25’ heated infinity pool with an adjacent Jacuzzi with a fountain. There is a wet bar with refrigerator, palapa roof and gas BBQ. The pool deck alcove has a ceiling fan.
Our guests rave about our staff of three, who come to the villa 5 ½ days a week to respond to your every need. They will make your stay at Casa Carole memorable. The villa is stocked for your arrival with the food and beverages you choose. Frozen margaritas, salsa, guacamole and tostados await your Saturday arrival. Your chef prepares two gourmet meals a day from her extensive menu. You reimburse her each day for the food and beverages you have ordered.

INTERNET CONNECTION AVAILABLE @ CASA CAROLE
Dial up Internet service is available directly from the villa at a cost of $25 a week. All you have to do is contact our Internet provider by phone from the villa and they will walk you through setting up your laptop. If requested, they can come to the villa and program your computer for you for a small fee. However, you have to have your e-mail at your home or office programmed for worldwide access before you leave for Mexico or use your Internet supplier’s web mail. Let us know if you want an Internet connection and we will provide the necessary codes and pass words.

There is a seven-night minimum. Bookings are from Saturday to Saturday.
All rates are in US$ and subject to change.
Clients send their payments, via pre-paid wire transfer, to our Bank in the United States or Canada.
TERMS
To hold your reservation, a 50% deposit is required, except for holiday bookings, where payment is required in full and they are non-refundable. For other periods, deposits are refundable, in the case of a cancellation (less a $100 Admin. Fee) up to 120 days prior to your scheduled arrival date. If there is a cancellation between 120 to 60 days prior to your scheduled arrival, there is a charge equal to 20% of the entire rental fee. The balance is due and payable 60 days prior to your scheduled arrival, at which time the booking is firm and non-cancelable, with no refund, unless the villa is re-rented for the period canceled at the same rate. Holiday bookings are non-cancelable.

New Infinity Pool:
Enjoy our full size, 12 x 25 foot, heated infinity pool with attached giant Jacuzzi spa and fountain. The pool is 9 feet deep, with a unique ledge along the inside of the outside wall, 4 feet below the water, from which you can watch the porpoises play in the morning, or savor the sunset with a drink in your hand.
The Pool Deck:
The expansive 1,500 sq. ft. Pool Deck with its palapa bar, sink, refrigerator, gas BBQ, deck chairs and cushions is ideal for entertaining and dining.

The Secluded Sandy Beach:
Step down through well-kept gardens with fresh bananas, coconuts and limes (in season) to a secluded sandy beach. The volcanic rock reefs provide great snorkeling.
Living Room:
The spacious living room is on two levels with vaulted ceilings, a fireplace and balcony. It features traditional Mexican colonial décor throughout with hand carved furniture. Modern amenities include: TV, VCR, CD/Tape player, books, games, videos and more. The TV is connected to a satellite dish offering CNN news & sports, plus many programs in English.
Dining Room:
The elegant dining room seats 10 comfortably for dinner. It features traditional Mexican décor, including hand crafted furniture, china and glassware. Enjoy the large dining room balcony for leisurely breakfasts or an after dinner drink.
Kitchen:
The well-equipped kitchen has a gas range, refrigerator, microwave and a host of small appliances, where your cook will prepare gourmet meals for you from our extensive menu. Try her flan, it's to die for.

Casa Carole has five, color-coded bedrooms, which can sleep up to five couples. Each bedroom has its own bath and balcony, and is on a different level for complete privacy. All linens and towels are provided.

STAFF
Our staff of three comes to the villa from town, five and a half days a week, 8 hours a day. Memo, our houseman is in charge of maintenance, the pool and the gardens. The maid, Carmen, will clean and make up the rooms each day and do any personal laundry on request. Our Chef, Maria, having reviewed her extensive menu with you, will shop for your food and bring it to the villa. She will prepare two gourmet meals a day, breakfast and dinner - or breakfast and lunch, if you care to go out for dinner to sample Vallarta's many fine restaurants.
ARRIVAL REFRESHMENTS AND MENU SELECTION
The house is stocked with staples. To arrange for the food and drink for your first meal and breakfast the next day, we will send you our Guest Arrival Information form. Just fill it out and fax it to us two weeks prior to your arrival. If you have requested it, our chef can have guacamole, salsa, frozen margaritas, cold beer and soft drinks for you when you arrive. She will be preparing your first meal, which you have selected on the Guest Arrival Form. Maria has an extensive menu from which you may select your meals. Please discuss any special food requirements with her. She will purchase your food and drink each day at the supermarket. You will be responsible for reimbursing her for the cost of the food and drink ordered for your stay at Casa Carole. You will be provided with detailed receipts. If there are too many provisions to bring on the bus, she may take a cab and add the cost of the taxi your tab. It is best to check the order and reimburse her each day, or every second day.
MANAGEMENT:
Casa Carole is managed by Wong Colunga & Associates, owned by the two Wong sisters, Guadalupe (Lupe) and Teresa. Their father, Roberto Wong, was our first manager 20 years ago, but he became ill and passed away. A few years ago his daughters started up the business again and we welcome them back to manage Casa Carole. Our villa is one of about 20 high-end villas and condos that they manage. They are available to solve any problems that our staff cannot handle. Their office phone number from the US is 011 52 322 224-2247, locally it is just 224-2247.
TRANSPORTATION:
By airport taxi or van from the airport to Casa Carole approximately 200 pesos ($20 US) for 1 to 4 persons. It’s 385 pesos ($35 US) for 5 to 8 people in a van. There is a taxi stand 150 feet from the villa. It's 40 pesos ($4.00 US) to downtown. Low cost bus service is also available a few 100 feet further on at just 4.5 pesos to town. A rental car is not necessary at Casa Carole, but they are available at the airport or next door to Casa Carole at the Lindomar Resort. We have found that Alamo offers the best deals lately, about $50 to $60 US per day, $350 per week, depending on the type of vehicle. If you only want a car for a day or so, they will bring the car right to the villa.
TELEPHONE:
There are two phones in the villa for local calls. The phones will receive long distance calls, but direct dial and local operator assisted outgoing long distance calls are blocked. Long distance phone service can be arranged, but requires a $500 US deposit per week, the unused balance of which will be returned 90 days after your departure, when the Mexican phone bill is made available. The Casa Carole phone number from the US is 011 52 322- 221-5062, locally it is 221-5062.
Casa Carole is equipped with satellite TV, a VCR, DVD, CD/Tape player and a dial-up Internet connection.
You rely don’t need a rental car at Casa Carole. There is a taxi stand 150 feet from our door and a bus stop 250 feet further on. A cab is 40 pesos ($4.00) to the city center. It’s 4.5 pesos (45 cents) on the bus.
Our houseman can arrange boat tours, fishing, scuba diving, jungle tours, horseback riding, canopy tours, or a swim with the dolphins. There are 6 golf courses available to test your game and the shopping is fabulous for art, jewelry, beach ware and Mexican handicrafts.
You can have a licensed masseuse come to the villa and make turn it into a spa.

One of the great things about it was that when some wanted to stay up and enjoy music and
margaritas and others needed a siesta it was sound proof in the rooms. The lay out was perfect. We
enjoyed the pool, the views, the snorkeling and the food.
The staff was wonderful. Carmen kept the place impeccably clean, Elva whipped up some wonderful
meals for us and Pepe was a wealth of information. They were all really good to us.
