This home is located in an incredible area for privacy and quiet, and yet it is also within a few minutes of both the casinos and the ski resorts. Located towards the bottom of Kingsbury Grade, which runs between the casinos at lake side and the top of Heavenly Valley on the Nevada side, this home has easy access because it is off Chimney Rock, which is a school bus route and therefore kept cleared during inclement weather. It is just a little over a mile to the casinos, so you can either drive or call BlueGo for added versatility within your groups. Just down at the end of the street is the entrance to a walking/biking path for the warmer months, as well as a great snow shoeing course during the winter. This house is bound to be a skiier's dream home. It is truly convenient in its location! |

The home has 4 bedrooms (3 kings, 1 queen, 2 queen sleeper sofas) and 3 baths, so it will comfortably accommodate up to 12 people. As you enter this home, there is a large entry hall that looks down into the large comfortable living room, complete with a woodburning fireplace and a 60" cable TV, VHS, and DVD. If you must bring your work on your vacation, there is a desk waiting for your laptop, complete with High Speed Internet connection. Just up a few stairs, enter a completely stocked kitchen (new stove and refrigerator, plus another built in oven and microwave, dishwasher and garbage disposal. We try to keep most spices, wax paper, plastic wrap, foil, dishwasher detergent, liquid detergent, etc. on hand for our guests). The dinette seats 4 at an oval oak table set, plus there is a dining room on the opposite side of the kitchen that comfortably seats 8. The dining room suite is elegant and accommodating for the most intimate of dinners to the Thanksgiving turkey feast. Take your pick. The "pub", better known as the family room/pool table room, is beautifully panelled in cherry wood paneling and has a full bar, complete with small refrigerator and sink. The perfect place for a game of pool or watching the Super Bowl on the 27" cable TV with DVD, or relaxing by the wood burning stove to keep you comfy.The fourth bedroom is downstairs off the downstairs bathroom and it has a comfortable queen sized bed. Wander upstairs to find the three very generously sized bedrooms, each with its own cable TV and king sized bed. The master bedroom is decorated to suit the gentleman's taste with its heavy cherry and mahogany furniture and dressed in a very upscale comfortor set. Relax in the chair and ottoman while you read a book or newspaper, or watch television. The master bath has both an oversized shower and a relaxing Jucuzzi whirlpool bath tub. The second bedroom features grandma's rod iron and brass headboard and bed dressed in a powder blue patchwork quilt comfortor and lots of pillows to relax in. The decor is country pine and there is a club chair to retire to when you want to escape the group downstairs and watch TV or read. The third bedfroom is antique French in feel, and like the other bedrooms has a upholstered chair for relaxing. The third hall bath is very large and features a tub/shower combination. This home actually has a basement where items may be stored, and where the washer and dryer are presently located. The garage is available for parking, as is a fairly large driveway. There could be as many as 5 cars parked, depending on the size of the car, of course. Outside, there is a deck from which you may look over the extremely large backyard, which has a year round creek flowing through it. There is a propane barbecue for the use of gourmet chefs, as well as a new hot tub adjacent to the deck. The home is kept very comfortable by its water baseboard heating in the cool months and the ceiling fans in the warmer months. Please consider this new home. We think this is going to be one of our most popular homes!
