The Great Room upstairs boasts a rock fireplace surrounded by a comfortable sitting area, large dining room for 10-15, and a spacious gourmet kitchen featuring a center island and granite countertops. Downstairs you'll find another fireplace and a fabulous gameroom w/ pool, air hockey, foosball, ping pong, board games, Sony Playstation2, game bar, IPod hookup, wet bar w/fridge and more...

The highlight of entertainment at the Jaegerhaus Log Castle is 'going to the movies' right in your own private movie theatre! With the big screen measuring 7' by 12' - the actors are as tall as YOU and the action doesn't get any better than this with high quality surround sound! We have an extensive library of movies to select from, and an attached DVD/VCR player so you can play your own movies too.
And when you are ready to start singing... select from over 1200 karaoke favorites and project the words right onto the big screen. Everyone will be able to see them and sing-a-long! So practice your Do, Re, Mi's and prepare to step up to the mic and into the spotlight...
And... in addition to the main house, there’s a separate studio apt with a full kitchen and bath. All living areas and bedrooms have flat screen TV’s.
The Jaegerhaus Log Castle is close to the downtown "Village", the Alpine Slide at Magic Mountain, the Lake; and Snow Summit is less than 10 minutes away.

Nestled in the beautiful community of Big Bear Lake, this house is ideally located for year-round outdoor activities, such as skiing, water skiing, hiking, mountain biking, boating, fishing, off-roading, horseback riding, and shopping.
Only a few blocks from the largest lake in Southern California, there is convenient access to a myriad of water sports. The lake is stocked with trout and bass during the year, providing exceptional fishing during the spring, summer, and fall months. All types of boat rentals are available ranging from catamarans to canopy boats to jet skis. Big Bear also has many annual festivals, summer concerts, and a beautiful Discovery Center for the kids.
During the winter, Big Bear Lake is home to the absolute best skiing in Southern California. Ski areas such as Snow Summit, Bear Mountain, and Snow Valley, all within close proximity provide a tremendous variety of challenges to skiers of all skill levels. Snow Summit is a 10-minute drive from your doorstep.
And any time of the year is a good time for the unique shopping experience of Big Bear Village, less than a mile from this vacation home.

You will seriously NOT find a better cabin in the Big Bear area. Once you've stayed in this lap of luxury, you'll be hard-pressed to enjoy your stay anywhere else! I've been here on four separate occasions and each time the house gets better and better! The outside is gorgeous but doesn't do it justice. The inside is impeccable- everything is NEW, clean, labeled (which helps when you're in someone else's home!), and cozy. This is the perfect house for any family or group wanting to relax and be entertained, but still feel like they are home. TVs in every room? Check. Spa? Check. Movie Theater? Check! Check, check, check- this house has EVERYTHING. It's well-maintained, the customer service is smooth, and I would (and I have, and I will again) recommend it to anyone with nothing but absolute confidence that their stay would be more than enjoyable.

"Wow! This house was the best vacation home we have ever rented. We brought our 2 sons plus 2 of their friends and never worried about them being bored. There was plenty of fun things to do inside the house. We loved the outdoors as well. While they were having a blast downstairs my husband and I enjoyed movies and drinks upstairs. We were very impressed with so many details. We will definitely return and HIGHLY recommend it to others!
