Cair Paravel, named after the castle by the sea in the Chronicles of Narnia, is a charming home that is comfortable in season and out, as it was built as a personal residence. It is newly furnished with a blend of solid oak furniture, a few sturdy antiques, lovely lightweight comforters and abundant pillows on new beds, and a splash of the fun Ikea look. Wildflowers in the yard with a large patio and an easement to the canal are great outdoor features. The roomy double garage can be a hangout for teens or adults to play foosball or ping pong. The large side yard sports a volleyball net for the beach volleyball enthusiates. Upstairs you will find the master bedroom, two additional bedrooms that sleep 3 each, a spacious great room and dining area with a long oak farm table with leaves enough to seat 12. The kitchen is newly remodeled with granite counters, a huge refrigerator and cabinets that will hold everything you want to bring!. The downstairs suite has one master bedroom with the Pottery Barn/Ikea look, a TV/Futon room that sleeps 2 more, a private full bath, laundry room with washer and dryer and outdoor access. You will really feel like you are living in a castle by the sea when you visit Cair Paravel!
