Had everywhere needed for a great weekend. Brand new AC installed the day before we got there, so everything was cool. BHI Services did a great job of setting us up and we loved it. Clean and cool view.

Everything you need. I liked the waffle maker and sandwich press for the kids to make sandwiches. 6 beach chairs and umbrellas for us to use. Pretty golf views and I hope to play on our next visit. Cool seeing the gators.

Spring Break Rest and Relaxation

Location was great and house had everything we could need. We use the club a lot, so this is perfect for the kids and us. Came down for spring break and the weather was a little cooler, but we played tennis every day, golfing, she'll hunting and biking. They also had plenty of bikes, so might save you on rental fees. Felt comfortable letting my kids hang in the villa complex with other kids while we were getting dinner ready. Saw two different gators multiple times during the week. Lots of fish in the water and birds in the trees off the back deck. Really pretty view. My mom loves the house as well and she is hard to please. ;-)

It was the perfect get-away! Beautifully decorated home, beautiful scenery, and w great location. I rode The golf cart everywhere and would be at the beach in about 1 min and the market in 5. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Worth Driving 15 Hours

Thank you so much for sharing your home with us to enjoy during our family vacation. You can tell the difference between a pure rental and a home that a family enjoys. But decides to share with others. The house was beautiful and bright and had everything we needed. We liked the accessibility to the beach and pool. The alligators were amazing to watch and we never got bored. The views, accessibility, nice people and so much more, made it worth the 15 hour drive to get here!

Cozy and Comfy in the Winter

Great Villa. 5 of us stayed at the Villa and there was plenty of room. 2 golf carts allowed the guys to golf while the girls shopped, walked the beach and cruised the island nature tours. Didn't realize how convenient these villas are to BHI club. You can walk across a bridge in the neighborhood to get to the club if you don't want to drive. Unit is very clean, has new furniture, comfy beds and is maintained very well. We found everything we needed. Lots of cooking equipment if that is your jam. We cooked most breakfasts and lunches, but had dinner out. They had a large electric skillet, waffle maker and panini press. Lots more than I normally see in the rentals. BHI services was great. Plan to return.

Golf Trip

Clean, comfortable and ideal for a group. 2 golf carts, lots of beach chairs. Had 6 golfers stay and the house had everything we needed. Griddle for breakfasts, 2 coffee makers, plenty of kitchen equipment for those that like to cook, which we did. Golf course view is perfect to watch the other players finish up their round on the 18th.

Bright, Clean and Cheerful

Very bright interior that was clean and tidy. We have stayed at the Villas for years and this one had the most bikes, beach chairs and extras than all the others. The marsh and golf view were lovely at sunrise and sunset. House had everything we needed and more. We would definitely come back to this villa. The 2 6 seater golf carts were very helpful as well. Love BHI and look forward to returning and seeing the gators again.

Golf, beach, views, beer, buddies and more golf. October is the perfect time to come to BHI. I tell myself that every year and always want to stay longer. This villa overlooks the 18th hole with a really cool lagoon view, especially in the early evenings with the reflections off the water. Clean, crisp, fully stocked, everything working as expected. Will return to this villa for the view and booked October 2022 already. Woke up and went straight to the window to see the golf course, birds, fish, gators and so much more. Soak in the sunsets and play the course. It is a gem.

Beach Escape Come True

We loved the location of this home and the flexibility the two golf carts and numerous bikes. It truly gave us a variety of ways to explore the island. We kayaked, biked, golfed, fished and had a wonderful time on the beach hanging out together as a family. There is a big kitchen table and the outside deck table, so we invited friends from another villa over for dinner and had room for everyone. The unit has everything you need and BHIS is always very helpful, when and if needed. I wish I was sitting on the deck right now in the afternoon winds enjoying a cocktail along with those amazing views. That view never gets old or disappoints. Great sightings of the HUGE gator this trip as well. Amazing! Booking now for next year.

Couples Golf and Beach Trip

We absolutely did not want to go home! We went down to play golf and enjoy the beach with friends. It was a wonderful trip. The course was in wonderful shape, the house was fantastic and the beach is always the icing on top. The house had everything we needed, plenty of room, well-equipped, lots of bikes, and the view was really nice off the back deck. We hope to get back down again next month.Love Bald Head!

Such a nice centrally located villa! We really enjoyed our time there. Although it rained, we so much enjoyed our view, enjoyed the golf carts when the weather broke and loved watching the wildlife (got to see the neighborhood gator too)! Only issue (which has nothing to do with the villa) was that the people before us must not have signaled for trash pickup (we barely got our one trash bag in the covered trash bin and had to empty the trash bag they left in the garage). If you want a beautiful view and a relaxing vacation...Hook Wine and Sinker is the place to stay! Thank you BHI Services for a great vacation!

Friends and Family Weekend

Lagoon view was so pretty! Kids were able to see the gator every morning and evening, as well as deer, fish, birds and so much more. Our friends staying at another villa kept coming to ours saying it was like National Geographic off the deck. Sunset reflections off the lagoon were amazing as well. Never thought we would love a non-ocean view this much, but we did! Can't wait to come back and just booked again in October. Unit was bright, clean and very comfortable for our family. We hosted dinner for friends renting other villas each night. The big table inside seats 8 so it was great and we even had overflow to the deck for 6 more. Luckily the space allowed all 14 of us for dinner 3 nights in a row. Everyone came to our unit for cocktails and scenery. Great villa for a Labor Day summer wrap up. Had plenty of bikes and even a pump to help with any tires that needed a little more air. 2 carts also made it super easy to get around while the guys played golf and lugged clubs in the other cart. Can't wait to get back to BHI!

Girls Trip

We had a wonderful girls trip and this Villa was perfect. They had all the necessary supplies to allow us to indulge in a true girls weekend, filled with laughs, wine and charcuterie. There were 2 carts so we all could come and go as needed, along with lots of bikes and a wonderful view of the gators. Such a nice getaway....clean, comfy and convenient. Can't wait to go back!

The perfect vacation!

This was our first time visiting Bald Head Island, and we thoroughly enjoyed it! We absolutely loved this villa! It is in a perfect location. Such a quiet spot with a lovely view of the golf course, and just a short walk to the beach and pools. It was great to be able to use the temporary BHI guest membership and do a lot of fun activities with the grandchildren. They also loved the visits from the alligator, who was fun to watch from the upper deck. This villa is so well equipped with everything you need, two 6 passenger golf carts, 6 top of the line beach chairs, beach umbrellas, sand toys, bikes, a very well stocked kitchen with enough plates & cups for a large group, and a awesome gas grill. The house decor is lovely, and clean with super comfortable beds. We were a party of two families, and we rented side by side villas which worked out perfect for us. We look forward to our next visit to Bald Head Island, and will definitely stay here again.

Week to Recharge

I needed this week. Restful, relaxing and exactly what BHI brings a body in need. Villa is bright and clean with a great location. Enjoyed the golf views while I drank my morning coffee and evening cocktail. Gators were very active and cool to watch for the family. Two carts made it easy for the family to get around and not have to wait around and do our own thing. Fishing, crabbing, beach and pool. We did it all. Great vacation and can't wait to come back next year!

Love BHI

I love BHI and have stayed in many places on the island. The villas are just too easy. Everything is walkable and this place had lots of bikes to explore as well. No need for renting them, they were ready in the garage to explore. Awesome view of the golf course and gators. Clean and had everything we needed for cooking in as well. Will definitely return next year or hopefully sooner. :-)

Clean and just as advertised. Great view of golf course and lagoon with all the nature that BHI has to offer. Lots of bikes and loved closeness of club for swimming and dinner. Will return next summer.

Really nice stay at the property - just as advertised and among the cleanest short-term rentals we have had. Nice location with beautiful and relaxing view over the golf course (and gators from a safe distance up high). Everything worked perfectly and as expected, and we would definitely stay here again!

This is a wonderful Villa to rent. Clean, neat and nicely decorated. Great view of the golf course and adjacent lagoon. We found everything we needed. If you have bikers in the family you will find plenty of bikes stored in the garage area.

Amazing!

This place blew me away. Beautiful inside and very clean. It is a fantastic location especially if you purchase access to the Bald Head Island Club. The views of the golf course are great. If you are a golf nut like me, there's not much better than coming home after a round of golf, sitting on your deck with a cocktail and watching the rest of the golfers finish up on the 18th hole. Plus, I heard from one of the neighbors, the owners are building a wrap around deck on the bottom as well which will be even better viewing. Will definitely be back with the family AND also with my golf buddies.

Lagoon is Breathtaking

Lagoon views are amazing. Easy walk to beach and club. Great space for our family of 6 to enjoy. Upper deck off loft was our family spot for evening sunset and the lower deck was perfect for meals and a cup of joe in the morning. Unit had plenty of adult and kid bikes. Kids loved the waffle maker and panini press for lunch sandwiches. Lots of supplies and everything we needed to enjoy our vacation.

Great location and view - relaxing week

Loved the golf course and lagoon view! Spent many hours sitting on the deck enjoying coffee in the mornings and having early evening cocktails as the reflection hits the lagoon. Gorgeous. Lots of amazing wildlife right off the deck. It is exactly why we keep coming to BHI year after year. The house had 2 golf carts, so it was easy to get around with our family and kids. The house is bright, clean and cheerful.

Hidden Gem on Bald Head

This unit is well appointed with everything you would need for a relaxing stay at BHI. The unit is clean and very comfortable. The view of the lagoon and golf course is wonderful, as you can watch wildlife all day long and a set of binoculars is even available. The location is perfect for a easy walk to the BHI club for the pools or dinner. Beach access is just across the street, which I enjoyed daily on my morning walk. I will absolutely be back to enjoy Hook, Wine and Sinker again!
