House was ready promptly as promised. Well located for the beach and a nice pool for the kids. House Lay-out accommodated our group of 12 with everyone having a bed (not pull-out couch). Kitchen was well stocked with dishes and utensils.

We had a wonderful stay at Dune Our Thing. It was a great space for 3 families. The pool was perfect for our group with many young kids, and the walk to the beach was super easy and safe! Other neighbors and renters in the area were friendly and there's lots to do nearby.
We stayed over July 4th weekend and got to see so many fireworks over the ocean while sitting right on our deck!
My only critique is that I wish there was a bathroom on the lower level, but certainly not a dealbreaker. Regardless, all 6 of the bathrooms were very nice.

Everyone loved the place. The cleaning crew could use improvement but when you take into consideration the size of the house and the turnover time from one renter to the next, you'd understand the reason. I'd rather deal with a little dust and get into the house at 4 pm then wait until 6pm. I loved the house. The beds were so comfortable. The pool...family room...closeness to the beach were great. The realtor reached out frequently to ask if we needed anything...asked if there were any issues. I would definitely rent this house again and use Beach Realty for rental properties.

First of all, dealing with Beach Realty was outstanding. They were prompt, helpful, professional and a pleasure in helping us throughout the rental experience. Dune Our Thing was a great vacation rental. Clean and comfortable. Close to the beach. Great Ocean views. The pool was cool and clean. As was the hot tub. The AC was always cool which was a welcome relief after a long day on the beach. Renting Dune Our Thing made our annual vacation stay simply wonderful. Five Stars all around. Thank you Beach Realty. Spent four nights here with a group for the week of New Year's. Very happy with the property.

PROS

- Very clean, particularly for a house that allows dogs
- Great location with a convenient walk to the beach and Trio's Market, and an easy drive to the grocery store
- Hot tub was in good shape and working condition, which if you've ever stayed in a rental property you know can be hit or miss
- Perfect house for adults. It's frustrating when houses are designed to sleep X number of people but they just stack a bunch of twin bunks in a couple of rooms and count sleeper sofas.
- This has six bedrooms and only one of them has a set of twins (Attention rental property owners: Two kids can sleep in a queen. An adult couple cannot sleep in twins).
- Good kitchen and open floor plan upstairs. Could easily hang out with 10-12 upstairs in the same room.
- Great decks
- Plenty of parking
- Linens were sufficient
- Kitchen utensils, pots/pans, and tableware were sufficient (knives are obviously horrible but good luck finding a rental house with nice ones).

CONS

- I would bring my own bath towels as theirs were pretty cheap but this isn't uncommon for rentals
- Absolutely nothing provided (not sure if this was COVID-related) so we didn't even have a single roll of toilet paper, paper towels, or a dishwasher pod in the house. Not a huge deal, but I've stayed in 30+ rentals houses over the last decade and that was the first one I've ever seen without a roll of toilet paper.
- TVs are way too small in every room, including the both living areas. Not a huge deal, but it seems like a weird place to cut costs considering how cheap TVs are these days.
- There are two bedrooms that are on the first floor and their shared bathroom is on the second floor. I think this is a North Carolina coastal construction requirement for storm surges, but it's worth noting for guests.

Again, thank you and we hope to welcome you back to the beach very soon! NOTE: As of May 2022, new owner has purchased and made updates. There are now new towels, bath cloths, and bath mats. Each bathroom has at least 1 roll of wrapped toilet paper. Welcome bag contains paper towels and dish soap, among other items. TVs have been upgraded. Thank you again for the wonderful review. There were only 4 of us staying in the house, so there was almost too much room, but we had a great time. The pool/hot tub were awesome to enjoy after spending the day at the beach and the beach was such a short walk, it was easy enough to go back and forth from the house to the beach several times throughout the day. Location was perfect, the house was clean and spacious. We hope to stay here again in the future.

We had a wonderful time at this property. It was the perfect size for 6 adults and 5 kids. Due to Covid, we only left the house twice and never felt crowded. Pool and hot tub were amazing. The only issue we had was that we wished there was some yard in the back for the kids to play. Otherwise, it was a fabulous trip!

The property was clean and well maintained inside and out. Sitting on the deck in the morning drinking coffee and watching the sun come up are memories we will cherish for a long time. Two blocks from the ocean was a major plus. No driving to the beach, just a short walk. Perfect vacation spot.

This was my 3rd stay in the OBX and this was by far the nicest house yet. The condition of the house was excellent-It looked like it had been recently painted, the kitchen was well stocked and the pool and pool area were great. The decks have recently been done and the view from the 3rd floor could not be beat. You can see the sunrise every morning out over the ocean. The walk to the beach took ten minutes tops. We had a group of 11 people and everyone had a great stay. The pictures of this house do not due it justice! Beach Realty was on top of their game also. The phone calls to make sure all was well were greatly appreciated.

This is a beautiful place that makes you so comfortable you feel as if it is a home away from home. Enjoyed having towels/sheets provided but did have to call Beach Realty about having the three dirty hampers from previous renters picked up and have fresh delivered. Was handled as soon as we called. Three years of renting with Beach Realty is also the easiest experiences we have ever had!

We found Grey Goose due to the property we reserved being a disaster upon arrival and we needed another rental. It turned out to be a great vacation thanks to Beach Realty placing us in this house and the owners allowing us to stay at the last minute! The location was great with only drawback being the ocean view is somewhat obstructed by other houses but walk to the beach was quick with easy beach access. It is also close to most anything you need or want to do. The layout of the house and size of rooms worked great for us, maybe a bathroom on bottom level would be nice. Pool was perfect with sun in the afternoon keeping it warm. The house needs a good cleaning and exterior glass doors and sliders need to be replaced but overall it is a great rental and we would definitely stay here again! The house was great with all of the amenities, but there were not bikes and there were not DVD capabilities. My son had to go purchase some technical equipment so that we could watch the upstairs tv. Coffee maker(there were 2) one worked and one leaked/so that was hard for the 12 of us. Otherwise, things went well and we had a really lovely time.

The house was well described and a great place to stay. The pool was wonderful and well maintained. We did miss having seating on the decks. There was only 1 chair a pool lounge on each deck. It would have been nice to have some deck chairs for morning coffee or evening chats.

We had a blast last week visiting he outer banks!! The house was plenty big enough for the 11 of us. The kitchen was well stocked. Loved the 2 coffee pots. (That made our morning go smoothly.) we had 2 people that had never been to the outer banks before and 3 that it was their second time. We will most likely do this again in a couple of years :).
