Gulf Dunes 207 - Blue Skies & Beach Vibes Vacation Rental

Great beach condo 2022-10-18
By: Sharon E. Trip Date: 2022-10-13
The unit was very nice and we enjoyed our stay there. I do feel like the beach service could be better. Not having a reserved set up for our chairs was not ok. They could put the condo numbers on the chairs if requested. I was also not a fan of the shower curtain. It needs to be updated to doors.
Response from Brooks and Shorey Resorts, Inc.:

this rental was for a friend who had never been to Florida. They loved it just chilling on the beach. A big difference from New York!
Response from Brooks and Shorey Resorts, Inc.:

Family vaca 2022-08-07

Condo was in a good location . Pictures show it to be a bit more updated then it is . Carpet in bedroom is pretty worn , tub wouldn’t drain , paint has scruffs in several places and kitchen cabinets have pretty big spots of
Paint missing . Master bed is very firm so if you prefer a softer bed it’s not for you . You will need to bring or pick up everything such as toilet paper, salt and pepper, cooking spray , laundry detergent, dishwashing soap, hand soaps, etc . Overall stay was comfortable but will look for something more updated for the price next year .
Response from Brooks and Shorey Resorts, Inc.:
Thank you for your feedback of your recent stay with us at Brooks and Shorey Resorts. I am glad that overall of your stay was comfortable. I apologize for the things that did not exceed your expectation. We will address your comments and make improvements with the music selection and the service from our colleagues. Many thanks again for sharing your experience and we hope to welcome you back.

The condo was nice and clean! We enjoyed the 2nd floor view and the beach service during the day was a great touch! I love the new paint at Gulf Dunes, too. If you stay there, be sure and walk over to Stewby's for some great food!
Response from Brooks and Shorey Resorts, Inc.:

Easy Stay 2021-07-18
By: Amanda C. Trip Date: 2021-07-10
Other than the view and accommodations, my favorite part of our stay was the easy check in and check out. It was also very conveniently located and we were able to either walk where we wanted to go or take a very short drive.
Response from Brooks and Shorey Resorts, Inc.:
Thanks for the AWESOME Feedback!! Hope to see back soon!

We loved that we could walk to dinner, ice cream and golfing! The walk to the beach is my favorite with 3 small kids I enjoyed it wasn't a long walk to the water.

Condo 207, Gulf Dunes 2021-05-19
By: Anonymous Trip Date: 2021-05-10
Enjoyed our stay very much. Not satisfied that the pool and walkway on the east side was closed, but luckily only a few days. The condo was clean and fully stocked. The weather was cool but was unable to adjust the room temp so we had to wear our sweaters most of the time
Response from Brooks and Shorey Resorts, Inc.:
Thank you for feedback! We are glad to hear that you still enjoyed your stay with us despite the closure of one of the two pools for a few days. We are sorry this occurred; however, this was not a Brooks and Shorey issue but an HOA issue and hope that you will not hold it against us. We hope to see back real soon!

Nice Location 2021-04-19
By: Anonymous Trip Date: 2021-03-27
The property is in a nice location with a few restaurants and an ice cream shop across the street. The pier is a 10 minute walk down the beach with additional restaurants. The unit was clean. It was a bit dated but it looked like they were making updates. The pool furniture in particular stuck out as needing immediate replacement but we didn’t spend a lot of time there.
Response from Brooks and Shorey Resorts, Inc.:
Thanks for taking the time to provide a review! Glad to here you enjoyed some of the local attractions. We will pass on your recommendations to the owners and the HOA. Please keep in mind we offer over 150+ units to choose from and hope to see you back soon!
