This unit is very beautifully decorated and homey feeling! Loved this unit. Absolutely my favorite place I’ve ever stayed. I give it a 5 stars. Will definitely be my place to rent every year.

It was a great week at this condo. What I loved the most was that it wasn’t a big complex so no fighting for elevators or parking. It’s right on the beach so that made it easier! Close to my fav restaurant Stewbys too. I definitely plan on staying here again.

Gulf Dunes is a great condo property and unit 208 was clean and well stocked. We enjoyed our stay and did not have any issues. The property staff were helpful and friendly and the beach was just steps away! The amenities provided by Brooks and Shorey Resorts were wonderful!

Loved the location of the condo!! Spectacular views from the balcony. Very short walk to the stairs or elevator and then to the beach. Loved that the chairs and umbrella was included. The condo had everything we needed as far as kitchenware and everything worked. The furniture was very nice and there was plenty of room for all 6 of us to use drawers and closets with space leftover. The master shower and king mattress could use an update. The mattress wasn’t horrible, just not as firm as I have at home. Parking was close and always easy to find a spot. Close to Publix for groceries. We chose to eat in Destin every night but there are places close as well! We would definitely stay here again! We were happy with this condo!!

Great location, beautiful beaches. Love Gulf Dunes and would definitely stay again. The only issue we had regarding ammenities was that we were unaware we needed to bring our own kitchen towels, wash rags and hot pads. That was not included in the “what to bring” info. Our unit was not supplied with those items. Overall, unit was very clean as was the entire complex. Heated pool was wonderful since Mother Nature didn’t fully cooperate during our stay.

We had a wonderful vacation. Gulf dunes 208 is nice! The view was beautiful and we loved being able to walk right out to the beach. The pool was nice to use when the ocean was too rough. We will definitely be back.

We enjoyed staying at Gulf Dunes 208. The kitchen was well-stocked and there were plenty of towels in the bathrooms. Gulf Dunes is located in a great spot and we loved the 2nd floor so that we didn't have to use the elevator. The only suggestion that I would make is to update the bathrooms, but it was a Great Condo!

Gulf Dunes 208 was a heavenly place to get away. The condo is a beautiful teal color and very attractively decorated. We had 4 adults and 2 children in our group (my husband and I and our kids and my husband’s parents). The bedrooms fit us perfectly. My in-laws stayed in the room with the king, my husband and I and our 9 year old stayed in the room with two full beds and my 14 year old daughter loved the bunk room. The view from the balcony was perfect, it felt like we were right on the beach. The room was clean and well equipped. We ordered takeout from nearby restaurants and ate in each night. Stewby’s is across the street and it was so good, we ate there twice! The dining area was spacious and it was great to be able to gaze at the ocean while having dinner. The two pools were not crowded and we were able to visit them several times during our stay. The complimentary beach set up made relaxing on the beach easy and carefree. We rented an extra set up each day and it was very affordable. We enjoyed the movie rental kiosk in the parking deck, it was a nice way to relax after a day on the beach. The rental company was very easy to work with. We will without a doubt rent this condo again!

Had a great time in this condo, it was very comfortable and had everything we needed for our week stay. I would definitely rent this condo again. We could see dolphins swimming in the ocean from the balcony. View was beautiful.

We really enjoyed our stay at Gulf Dunes 208. The condo was decorated very beachy and we loved it! The bed in the master was super comfy! The bunk room is small but serves its purpose. The view is fantastic! Would have liked to have a few more bath towels and toilet paper provided, but other than that it was an excellent stay :)

Location great, beach is not crowded as in Destin, been here many times and will continue to stay here.

Girls Trip 2019-05-26

We have always heard about the beautiful beaches in Destin and decided we needed to go. A friend recommended Okaloosa Island to us because it was a lot quieter and they were right. Exactly what we were looking for!
Unfortunately the week before we were leaving we were contacted by Brooks and Shorey to let us know that work would be done on the building while we were there and there was a possibility that we would not have access to our balcony from 9-5. They did offer for us to stay at a discount or move to another condo but could not guarantee where we would be at. We decided to stay put and take a chance. Well the workers were on our balcony but of course we were on the beach from 9-5 so it wasn’t that big of a deal except for the noise.
Marianne with Brooks and Shorey was great to work with and called us about 3pm to let us know that our condo was ready and did break the news that the workers were there. She quickly reminded us that we had great weather in the forecast for our stay and that the water was super calm!
The condo was clean and the beds were okay comfort wise. Perfect size for 3 girls and could maybe do a 4th and still be comfortable. A burner on the stove did not work, we let Marianne know and it was fixed by the time we got back from the beach. Would definitely recommend Gulf Dunes 208 and Brooks and Shorey.
