It was a great five days in the sun on the emerald coast. First time staying at this property. It was smaller than the pictures represented, especially the kitchen. Kitchen had very little silverware but plenty of dishes and appliances. TVs are fixed to the wall, and they should be adjustable for viewing. their cable channel selection sucks. Needs updated couch and loveseat, they are very worn and not really comfortable. The best thing was the cleanliness of the condo. The balcony was awesome, colorful wood chair and tables very cute and comfortable for enjoying the coastal views. Overall, it was a good experience because we went to enjoy the sea and sand. The chairs and umbrella on the beach were a very nice touch. Enjoyed the use of them each day.

We have stayed in several units at Gulf Dunes. This one has a great view and very nice outdoor seating. Nice unit. They could use more glasses and utensils.

Loved the decor of the condo. Had everything you would need in the kitchen. The balcony was perfect to watch & listen to the waves without being directly on the beach.

The condo was clean enough. The photos online look way better than reality. The furniture and decor needs updating. The bathrooms and kitchen need to be renovated. The ice maker does not work. The view was great but that’s really all I can recommend about this condo.

The Beach and Gulf Waters were beautiful with soft white sand and great waves. The view from our balcony was outstanding and the balcony had great seating. The condo definitely needs some updating. The sofa bed is very uncomfortable (as most are) and the bunk beds are really not suitable for adults. We had plenty of towels , toilet paper and garbage bags.

2021 Family Vacation 2021-06-26

Rental was great, however, there was still some sand left in from previous renter that was not cleaned. Also, the light in the bedroom was very noisy and I had to take the housing for the light off so it wouldn't rattle when the fan was on. The bed was uncomfortable, too. The Gulf Dunes elevators stunk like mildew and fish the entire time we were there and it felt like the property in general needed to be cleaned.

Would basically give this condo a 5 star rating but the pools could be better but that’s not really what you go to the beach for anyways . Brooks and shorey is an excellent company to rent from . My second year with them and I’m pretty sure I will use them every year . Unit 406 was a great condo with an awesome view and easy walking distance to stewbys and you could walk to the pier if you wanted too . It’s not that far a walk if you walk on the beach ., Watching the fireworks on the pier was a nice bonus too . Only thing I would recommend updating in the condo is the pull out bed in the couch . It isn’t the most comfortable at all. Also the bedroom is right beside the elevator so the noise in the morning wakes you up rather easily . Maybe a box fan or something to drown out the noise for guest that want to use it . Overall I would stay in this unit again for sure . The kids wanted tvs in the bunk beds but I haven’t seen any on the units I have looked at for gulf dunes . Free dolphin cruises and cattywampus is excellent too . Thanks Brooks and Shorey for all y’all do , y’all make vacationing super easy

This condo was clean, spacious, full kitchen with everything you need, you can even cook a Thanksgiving dinner meal there. Great to have washer and dryer to do a quick load of laundry after a day at the beach. Near by restaurants and ice-cream shop/minigolf. Would recommend and would stay there again.

The bed is very hard and the kitchen needs a few updated pieces but overall the appliances and furniture were new and lovely. The floors were clean of sand. And we never had any problems with the door code or elevators. I wish the HOA of these buildings would provide maintenance schedules a year in advance so that when they close a pool for an entire week you would know in advance. It’s a very far walk with two little kids to the other pool and the beach. I wasn’t happy about that at all and I would have chosen a different week had I known in advance not 3 days before check in.
