We have stayed in this condo multiple times, and I absolutely love the location and views. However, I do think it is time to update this unit. The living room furniture is not very comfortable and the master bath had to be rigged with a wash cloth to get the shower head to stay up. The master bed actually has a piece of plywood under the mattress...Ouch! As I mentioned before, this is absolutely a fantastic unit for the location and views, but not so much for comfort. It just needs a little love...

This condo was amazing! It’s very well decorated as well as a nicely stocked kitchen. The pictures don’t do this condo justice! The balconies are huge and gives you a wonderful view of the ocean as well as the sunrise. The beds are comfortable and the condo was clean.

Love the location the condo was very nice and clean. The only problem the beds were horrible to sleep on very hard and uncomfortable but other than the beds the stay was great!!

There were four of us staying for the week and we had plenty of room and a beautiful view. The condo was as described but even better in person. Loved the tile flooring throughout. The property was very clean and well maintained. I would recommend this location.

Great place to stay. First visit to Destin and Okaloosa Island. The only little issue we had was there wasn't any salt and pepper, could have used at least a couple rolls of toilet paper. Overall would return again.

Lovely Condo in a Great Location 2022-05-16

We recently enjoyed a 6 day stay in this condo. The condo was extremely clean and well-furnished. The beachy decor was nice and very comfortable. The property was in good repair although the hot tub was out of order for the duration of our stay. We particularly liked the inclusion of 2 beach chairs and an umbrella since those amenities were not included in stays elsewhere.

The kitchen was easy to cook in and had most of the items we needed. However, the lack of a cookie sheet was an inconvenience since we had planned a meal that required one and also made it hard to cook biscuits in the morning. We improvised, but would recommend that the owner of the unit add one. A pizza pan would also be a nice addition.

One maintenance issue we noted was that the doors that opened to a balcony between the 2 bedrooms had locks that didn’t seem to work. The deadbolt on the master bedroom door didn’t work at all, and we were unable to unlock the door from the other bedroom.

My only other complaint is, admittedly, a minor one, and specific to my personal preference. The master bedroom remains very bright at night as the blinds do not block much light, and the round window is completely uncovered. A sleep mask made it possible for me to sleep, but if you are like me and need a dark room to sleep, better remember to pack one!

A Relaxing Week 2021-11-28

Our time at this condo was a great. We have stayed at this condo before with Brooks and Shorey but this time we got one with the corner balcony and loved it. We are looking forward to doing it again. I was skeptical about going in November but we loved it not being crowded. You can even get sun burnt in November. Thank you B&S for a great time.

Best condo ever! 2021-10-11

I've been coming to Destin/ Ft Walton every year for 30 years and have stayed in several condo complexes. Pelican Isle became my favorite 3 years ago and 501 is definitely my favorite unit as of last week. It is a bright tastefully decorated unit that oozes relaxation and although the weather didn't quite cooperate we didn't mind staying in so much.
Beds and living room furniture are comfortable, wrap around balcony insures you can still sit outside if it rains
The staff is pleasant and Connor with the beach service was very polite and helpful especially as we were wanting to socially distance from the others.
I look forward to booking this unit again next year using Brooks and Shorey again as the agents are extremely pleasant and helpful as well.

This was a very nice place, especially for the price. The condo was clean and well designed, one of the more spacious with corner views. The location was good, a beautiful view, and great access to the beach, restaurants and the Boardwalk. The staff was very friendly and helpful.I would go back.

This was one of my favorite condos that I have stayed in Ft. Walton (and I've stayed in many). The views were spectacular and the unit was very clean. It came with everything you will need for your vacation. I highly recommend this unit and will stay here again for sure!
