Very relaxing stay. Attended the Destin Seafood Festival. The ocean was like glass very calm. Condo was nice and very clean. Could improve the hot water and the shower.

My husband and I really loved Okaloosa Island. The condo was beautifully decorated. Water pressure in the shower could be better and I wish the pool was on the beach side of the property. Other than that we 100% enjoyed our stay at Emerald Towers West!

This unit has great beachfront view. The property is well maintained and clean when we stayed. Overall it was a great stay and everything was as advertised.

Couple of things that management can improve on:

1. For late check in, the current rule of asking us to come back to office next day prior to noon is not very flexible. Please be more flexible on this considering long distance travel involved in the prior day.

2. Please enforce no smoking rule. Our unit had some smoking odor left from previous occupants smoking in the patio area. The occupants above our unit were also smoking in the patio area during our stay and affecting us when we were relaxing in our patio.

Thank you for completing our online questionnaire, Our properties are all non smoking, however smoking is permitted on the balcony (with doors closed to stop the odor from entering the property and also to prevent the fire alarms from going off) However we do ask that guests be courteous to people around them if they are smoking on the balcony. We had such a great time in this condo! The view was amazing. Beach service was well attended by a great staff who was courteous and friendly. My kids loved the bunk beds. The only problem we had was with noise from the pool. The beds were a little noisy as well, but overall it was a great experience.

Love the Brooks & Shorey properties. Centrally located to everything and far enough away from the beaten path to be peaceful. The only thing missing about ETW are the lack of life guard stations and trash cans around the perimeter of the property. Saw trash around the pool and around the elevator area. Had there been trash cans there wouldn't be trash scattered about.

This is exactly what I needed a month by myself at the beach. Coffee on the balcony most mornings looking at and listening to the ocean. The condo was wonderful. Soothing, calm colors, a very relaxed feel to the unit and not overcrowded with knickknacks. I've been staying in Ft. Walton for over 30 years. Nice property. Have stayed in older complexes and would readily recommend this property and this unit.

Our unit was just as described! It was clean, gulf-front, and just a short walk across the boardwalk to access the beach. The pool had lots of debris, but it was rather windy, so I assume the debris was blown in.

The sidewalks and walkways to the rooms were being resurfaced, which the management company failed to disclose. However, it caused minimal interruption. The contractors apologized for the inconvenience.

Very nice condo and absolutely beautiful view. The draw back was that whoever was staying in the condo above us opened and slammed the balcony door 100 times or more a day and was always slamming the front door at 6:30 am every morning, this is not the way you want to be woke up while on vacation. Not sure if they were also on vacation or live there.

Our only complaint is that there were a few bugs in the bathroom and kitchen. However, I'm sure that can be easily remedied with a pest control service. Because Hurricane Gustav spoiled some of our "beach time", we spent more time in the condo than we had planned! Thankfully, it was a relaxing atmosphere and there were good movies available to watch. The condo is tastefully decorated and well-equipped with kitchen supplies. We will visit again.

Our stay at Emerald Towers West was very good other than having to drive a few blocks to a grocery and other attractions the condo was very clean well decorated and maintained if we revisit Fort Walton Beach area again we will always come to this condo when available. Thanks a million for the timeless peace and quiet it was awesome.
