Sugar Mountain Ski Resort is only 8 miles from Beech Mountain Ski Resort. Tweetsie Railroad is less than 18 mile from Appalachian Ski Mountain. Grandfather Mountain is located 12 miles away. Only a few minutes from the Watauga river, which offers tubing and fishing, as well as other activities. Downtown Banner Elk is located 11 miles away. Boone, Blowing rock and Boone are all about 13 miles apart. This stunning mountain home has easy access to restaurants, shopping, and other activities. The main floor features a kitchen with granite countertops, stainless appliances and a gas stovetop. The adjacent dining room can accommodate 8 people at a banquet-styled table. The master bedroom is located on the first floor. The master suite has a king sized bed, HD SmartTV and a private Juliette Deck facing the front. A private ensuite bathroom is also available, with granite vanity counters and two sinks. There are also oversized custom steps-in showers, with rock floors and tempered glass doors. Two large bedrooms are located upstairs. Each has a king-size bed, a HD SmartTV, cathedral ceilings, and sweeping views of the mountains. The two bedrooms are served by a central bathroom upstairs with granite vanity, soaking tub and combo shower. The large king-sized suite downstairs has an HD Smart TV, sliding glass doors leading to a lower deck and hot tub. The ensuite bathroom features a granite vanity with a tub and shower combination. On the lower level, there is a recently renovated game room with a HD Smart TV and a pool table. This garage was only half the size as the larger, oversized one. You can access the attached garage for indoor parking from the game area. Parking for two or three vehicles is possible on the gravel driveway. Three levels of decks provide stunning mountain views. The decks feature a firepit, comfortable outdoor seating and an outdoor barbecue. This house is kept cool all year round by central heating and air conditioning.
