Red Bear Run is an attractive, well-equipped home with six (6) bedroom and four (4) bathrooms on three levels. Each level has its own living space, including a great-room on the main floor, a large den and game room downstairs with a kitchenette and bar, and a quiet room upstairs. Both decks have mountain views and offer outdoor dining and relaxation. Buckeye Lake's recreation center is a great place for the whole family to enjoy. Indoor and outdoor sports are available, including basketball, tennis and pickleball. There are also soccer, baseball, softball and other sports. BUCKEYE LANE AND RECREATION CENTER Beech Mountain Ski Resort is only three (3) miles from the center. Here you can ski, snowboard or ice skate. You can also snow tube, sled and snowboard. Beech Mountain is home to a variety of restaurants and shops. Beech Mountain is seven (7) miles from downtown Banner Elk.


The main floor of Red Bear Run features an open-concept living room, kitchen and dining area. The great room is a central gathering place where guests can relax and enjoy comfortable furniture. The kitchen is well-equipped and open to prepare and serve meals for large groups. The adjacent dining room table can seat up to 10 guests. The center island bartop of the kitchen can accommodate six (6) additional guests. On the main floor, up to 16 (16) guests can eat together. There is also a dining table on the deck and downstairs.


The master bedroom is located on the main floor and features a king size bed, a large HD Smart TV and a walk-in wardrobe. It also has an ensuite bathroom that includes a double sink vanity, a separate shower and a large soaking bathtub. Two more queen bedrooms are located on the main level and share a second full bathroom. Each bedroom has a HD Smart TV, as well as a walk-in wardrobe. One of the bedrooms has a mountain view.


Two more large bedrooms are located upstairs, flanking a central seating area with a couch and a full bath with a shower and tub combination. One bedroom has a queen-sized bed and an HD SmartTV. The bunk room has two twin-over-2-twin bunks, an HD SmartTV, and a walk in closet. All of these rooms have mountain views.


The downstairs has a den/game room with a pooltable, HD Smart TV, sofa, chair/ottoman and a kitchenette equipped with a Keurig, Keurig coffee maker, microwave and mini-fridge. There is also a table and chairs with four seats for dining and games. This floor is completed by a generous full bathroom that has a combination bathtub and shower, and a king-sized bedroom with HD Smart TV views of the mountains.


On the main level, there is a deck that runs the length of the home. There is a gas barbecue, an outdoor dining set that seats six people, additional seating and a wood-burning fireplace. The lower rear deck has more seating, is covered and spans the entire length of the home. Both decks have mountain views and overlook Buckeye Lake and Recreation Center.


Red Bear Run features wireless internet, seven HD Smart TVs that offer live programming as well as a variety of additional programming options. On the main floor, there is a laundry area with a washer/dryer and a utility sink. The main and lower floors have central heating and cooling for year-round comfort. The upstairs does NOT have central air conditioning, but it does have a floor unit air conditioner for the summer and ceiling fans in each bedroom. Red Bear Run allows dogs. Two (2) dogs are allowed per reservation, with a maximum weight of 50 pounds. Standard pet fees are applicable.
