Appalachian Seasons is a charming, rustic 3-level cabin that has recently been renovated by the new owners. Appalachian Seasons has three bedrooms, one loft with a Queen sleeper couch and three bathrooms. Each level has a bedroom and a bathroom. The main floor houses the kitchen, dining area and great room. The great room has wood floors, vaulted-ceilings and a fireplace. The room also features a large HDTV and DVD Player. The living and dining rooms on the main level have been enhanced with new furniture, decors, paints, light fixtures and other improvements. The main-level King Bedroom has an HDTV and a bathroom with a jetted Jacuzzi bathtub and shower combination. Enjoy the cozy setting on the rear deck, which is surrounded by mature hardwoods, and the stunning mountain views including Grandfather Mountain. The width of the cabin is covered by an enclosed porch. The courtyard has an Adirondack-style seating area, a wood-burning fireplace, a grill and a picnic table for outdoor dining. The lower level features a comfortable den and games area. The home also has an HD Smart TV, a Nintendo Wii gaming system, a gas-log fireplace and a multicade arcade table with dozens of fun arcade games. The lower level rear terrace overlooks Grandfather Mountain with mature hardwood trees. The hot tub is also available for guests. The lower level bedroom has a Queen bed, Twin beds, and Twin trundle. The bedroom has a HD Smart TV. The lower level bathrooms feature a tub/shower combination. The master suite is located upstairs. It has a king-size bed with HDTV, and a private bathroom. The loft upstairs is a comfortable living area with a Queen-size sleeper sofa, and a 4th bedroom. Appalachian Seasons provides updates and upgrades, as well as digital cable television programming, high-speed Wifi internet, and Nintendo Wii gaming systems. It also features a DVD player, a laundry area with a washing machine/dryer and central HVAC with an air conditioner to provide year-round comfort. Appalachian Seasons has a central location in the High Country. The cabin is less than a half mile from HWY105, in the charming village of Foscoe. It is located 7 miles from Boone, and 8 miles from the downtown of Banner Elk. Blowing Rock is 10 miles away. Valle Crucis, with its Original Mast General Store and riverfront park is just a 6-mile drive away. Sugar Mountain Ski Resort and Sugar Mountain Public Golf Club are both 6 miles away. Appalachian Ski Mountain is approximately 12 miles and Beech Mountain Ski Resort is about 14 miles away. Hawksnest Snow Tubing & Zip Line Park is less than 5 miles from the hotel. Grandfather Mountain, with its popular hiking trail Profile, is also less than 5 miles away. Alpine Wilderness Run is less than 6 miles from the Alpine Wilderness Run outdoor roller coaster. Tweetsie Railroad amusement area is less than 13 miles from the park. Watauga river is less than half a mile away. The cabin is within 10 miles of the New River and Elk Rivers. Linville Falls, Linville Caverns and Watauga lake are all within 20 miles. Appalachian Seasons can be reached in a short distance from restaurants, shopping and other conveniences. There are also many other exciting and fun things to do in the area. SLEEPING accomodations (sleeps 10 guests): Main Level Bedroom Suite with King Bed (sleeps 2).
