One of the largest seafood festivals in the world, the NC Seafood Festival doesn't want you to go away hungry. Available for you to sample are anything from traditional ""Down East"" Clam Chowder, Shrimp Burgers and Charcoal Mullet to Marinated Eel or a Soft Shell crab. In addition to some of the best seafood eats in the country, you will enjoy great entertainment throughout the weekend.
Held the first full weekend in October since 1987 on the Morehead City waterfront and free to the public, an even filled with food, entertainment, kids’ activities, vendors, and art. Promoting the seafood industry in North Carolina, and honoring the commercial fishing fleet that brings fish and shellfish to our tables, markets and restaurants.
