A Mountain Quiltfest
The Smoky Mountains have a rich history of folk arts and quilting, dating all the way back to the first settlers who called the area home. Today, the Pigeon Forge Quiltfest serves as a way to protect and preserve the timeless folk art.

Folk art appreciators and quilters of all levels attend this annual event, which draws crowds of up to 20,000 people into Pigeon Forge. Instructors, vendors and sponsors from all over the country will be on hand to answer all your quilt-related questions. Additionally, visitors can observe a special showing of quilted items and see method demonstrations. Professional and amatuer quilters will have a chance to compete for more than $18,000 in cash and prizes to be given away during the Mountain Quiltfest event.
