Forest View Hideaway, a cozy log cabin located on a private wooded area, is a secluded and cozy place. The name says it all. You would never guess that you are only a short distance from Dollywood, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg Arts and Crafts. Many guests have commented that they feel as if they are living in a treehouse. There are many little surprises around the cabin that add to the fun. They also make for great photo opportunities for guests of any age.

You'll be immersed in the natural beauty of Great Smoky Mountains National Park the moment you enter. It is decorated in the soothing colors of the park and features wildlife, historical photography, and woodlands. Although we decorate for each season, the peace and tranquility of the mountains are always the central theme.

The living room is equipped with a queen-size sleeper sofa (with memory foam), club chair and ottomans, an electric fireplace, and a 50-inch HDTV with Bluray/DVD player. There are books that provide information on the flora, fauna, and wine of the area, as well as a bartender guide and a book about wine. For those who have brought their children, we also have games, toys and story books. Some DVDs and Blu rays provide information and history on the area, while others are just for entertainment. Blackout curtains in the cabin will help you save energy and keep the bedrooms dark. It's your holiday. Sleep late!

Satellite TV offers local channels, ESPN, HBO and Showtime. You can also choose from thousands of Free on Demand Movies and Free Music Channels. Streaming is more your style? Our cabin has Wi Fi. We have you covered, upstairs and downstairs. On the coffee table, you'll find a handy guidebook that contains all the information needed to operate the TV, coffeemaker, hot tub and other appliances. We have listened to our guests' ideas and implemented many of them in the cabin. We replaced a noisy bed and added lighting over the jacuzzi, both suggestions from guests. Our goal is to ensure that you are relaxed and at peace.

The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to prepare a meal, from a simple one to a Thanksgiving feast. This includes a roasting dish, baking dishes, mixer and blender. The Cuisinart dual tea/coffee maker is a must-have, and yes, the microwave can be used to make movie night popcorn. Fiestaware dishes in sage and plastic dishes are available for six people.

There's also a complete set of grilling utensils available for the "grillmaster" in your group. The chef will enjoy being a part of the conversation while the rest of the group can keep him/her entertained at our custom-built bar, which is located just above the grilling zone. The covered deck offers a six-person hot tub and rocking chair in a peaceful, private setting.

Both bedrooms are on the main level. Bedroom #1 has a King-size bed. It is decorated in romantic cream and burgundy colors, with a matching antique armoire, and photos of the Roaring Forks Trail's beautiful streams, waterfalls, and woods. It features a 42-inch HDTV with Blu-ray/DVD Player, a bathroom, and a 2-person jacuzzi.

Bedroom #2 features a queen-sized bed, a 32-inch HDTV with Bluray/DVD player, and an electric "wood stove", which can be used in the summer months without heating to create a cozier atmosphere. It is decorated in a mountain theme, with blue and gray hues similar to those found along Newfound Gap Road and the Foothills Parkway.

Why stress about packing your makeup mirror if our cabin has 5X magnifying mirrors in each bathroom? Hair dryers are available.

Are you ready for more fun? Head up to "Club Hideaway" where you'll find 48 games on a multicade, plus a pool table and a fridge.
