Lakebluff Condos at Stonecliffe are situated high atop the West Bluff of Mackinac Island. There are 175 acres of bike trails, walking trails and roads throughout and around the island. We also have a full service restaurant and a historical mansion on the grounds.
Once you visit us, you will fall in love and want to come back as soon as possible. Mackinac Island has held a special magic for its visitors - relaxing, revitalizing, romantic - recapturing the essence of gracious living as it was 100 years ago.

Minimum Two Night Stay
Reservation Deposit Policy:
A 50% deposit to hold your reservation 6 months to 2 months prior to your arrival. Payment in full for reservation is due 45 days prior to arrival date or you lose your reservation. Payment in full is required if it is less than 45 days before the arrival date.
Reservation Cancellation Policy:
Your deposit minus a 15% service charge will be refunded if your cancellation is received six weeks prior to your arrival date.
Cancellation six weeks to four weeks prior to your arrival date will have a 15% service charge. If your reservation is not filled, you will loose your reservation deposit.
Security Deposit:
Because this condominium is privately owned, an additional security deposit in the amount $100.00 is required when checking in. Security deposit will be returned after your stay unless damage has occurred. This check is not part of the reservation payment. This will be a separate check. Please memo the check "For Security Deposit".
Payment and Confirmation:
Cashier, money order, or personal checks are accepted. Visa and MasterCard's are accepted during the season. A confirmation for reservation will be mailed or faxed to you. To secure your reservation you must sign the confirmation and return it to LakeBluff Condo's by mail or fax with reservation deposit or full payment. After final payment an information packet will be mailed out which will contain your Suite assignment, Resort and transportation information, Island attractions, ferry schedules and Rules & Regulations for the Condominium Building.
Check In / Check Out Times:
Check In time is 3:00 P.M. Check Out time is 11:00 A.M.
General Information:
Room Rates include daily maid service, and a complimentary continental breakfast.
Transportation Information: Horse drawn taxi's or shuttles are available at the boat docks, or at the Taxi Center. When ordering a Taxi give the destination as follows: "Lakebluff Condos at Stonecliffe, the Oakwood Building".
These Suites are beautifully decorated, and furnished in Forest Green with accents of pink and ivory. Even though these are privately owned condo's we have arranged for your enjoyment with amenities of a Hotel / Resort, with cable TV, complimentary coffee and tea, and daily maid service. (We also have refreshments you may purchase)
Please there is no smoking in the suites. No pets are allowed. Barbecuing on balconies is not allowed.

We are located within walking distance to the airport and are approximately one mike from the Grand Hotel and 1 1/2 miles from downtown, which is easily accessible by the Island horse driven taxis, bicycles or leisure walks down quiet roads of gorgeous scenery. Bicycle rentals are available downtown, keeping in mind they must be returned to the place of origin. One other note if you are a biker feel free to bring your own.
Downtown has lots of gift stores, clothing stores, fudge shops, ice cream parlors and restaurants. There is a horse driven tour approximately an hour and a half long which takes you to the Island's historical sites. Some of these are the Fort which was constructed in the late seventeen hundreds, the Governor Mansion, old cemeteries, and beautiful landmarks.
You can also rent a privately guided carriage who will take you to other points of interest that the large tour doesn't cover. For those who are adventurous you can rent your own horse driven carriage or just go horseback riding.
For the golfer we are very happy to announce the Grand Hotel has just completed the back 9-hole golf course on Stonecliffe property. Imagine teeing off on to the fairways on top of the Island viewing Lake Huron and the Mackinac Bridge, what a panoramic shot. Of course their front 9 is placed on the hillside of the Historical Fort Mackinac and Mansions, which are situated on the bluffs above you. These views can be a distraction for the advocate golfer. There is also a Links course on top of the Island called "Wawashkamo" which means crooked path in Indian language. Both courses have club rentals.
Since the Island is only 9 miles around you can walk around its lakeshore and experience some of the most breathtaking views while you totally unwind.
One thing you must remember, the pace is slow, not like the hustle bustle of our everyday living. No cars are allowed on the Island, only horses, carriages, bicycles and foot traffic. It is like stepping back in time to the turn of the century.
After all the tours and shopping downtown, come back to Lakebluff Condominiums at Stonecliffe and to our quiet tranquility. Relax and enjoy the breathtaking scenery. If you have ever seen the movie "Somewhere In Time", it was filled on Mackinac Island.
